#5304 Images transfer and then on the host are 0 bytes. Dean Pennington normal outdated 14 years 11 years
Description

Using most recnt client at this writing (3.3.2.1) I have previously and successfully transferred files to my cox.net host space. Today, whether it was a jpg, png, bmp, gif, or pdf the transfer went without error and in a proportionate amount of time for the file size, but on the host all times but one they appeared as zero bytes and were not usable. One time they filled in with the appropriate host file size, but were found to fail to display, and on refresh were zero bytes after all. I didn't try non-image file types so they may have had the same problem. I tried this multiple times in multiple sessions and after restarts. I also changed from AUTO to Binary, and turned passive on/off with no change in outcome.

#4160 Improper TLS Shutdown normal rejected 15 years 15 years
Description

WAIT, don't just close this, I know this is due to bugs on servers. Please read on.

I know that the "Server did not properly shut down TLS connection - ECONNABORTED" issue is caused by servers with bugs that create a security vulnerability. However, for those of us who LOVE FileZilla as a client, but don't have any control over the server we connect to, this issue renders FileZilla completely useless to us until the admins on the servers we connect to get their at together and fix/update their servers.

In the mean time, I think it would be a good move for FileZilla to allow servers with this problem, but treat the issue as a "WARNING" rather than an error that makes the FileZilla client useless.

Thanks,

-S

#9699 In 3.9.x you can no longer copy and paste from/to the site directory bars normal fixed 10 years 10 years
Description

Once I upgraded to 3.9.x on my mac I can no longer copy and paste from/to site directory bars [i.e. where local site: / remote site: are]. Previously keyboard shortcuts [i.e <ctrl>+c and <ctrl>+v] would allow you to copy and paste there.

This seems like a bug that was introduced recently.

#12074 Inability to connect to ProFTPD via keyboard-interactive auth starting with FileZilla 3.46.1 high rejected 4 years 4 years
Description

Hello,

Connecting to ProFTPD with FileZilla (all platforms), we have run into a connection error that only affects keyboard-interactive authentication. Doing a git bisect on the PuTTY sources (which are utilized by FileZilla), we found that the problematic commit exists between PuTTY 0.70 and 0.71, and is precisely due to PuTTY commit 20a9bd5642ac66ae1190069989d33c5fcefe5672 ( https://git.tartarus.org/?p=simon/putty.git;a=commit;h=20a9bd5642ac66ae1190069989d33c5fcefe5672 ) from July 9, 2018. We have tried various PuTTY versions after the problematic commit, including head, and still have the problem connecting to ProFTPD. We have also tried upgrading ProFTPD to 1.3.7rc1, 1.3.7rc2, and the latest head, and the problem still persists when connecting to it with anything higher than FileZilla 3.46.0 or PuTTY 0.70 (testing done with psftp).

The error message that is returned is the following (this output is from psftp, but the same error comes through with Filezilla 3.46.1 and higher):

Keyboard-interactive authentication prompts from server:
| Password:
End of keyboard-interactive prompts from server
Access denied
FATAL ERROR: Remote side sent disconnect message
type 11 (by application):
"Unsupported protocol sequence"

For now, we have informed those accessing our systems to do one of the following workarounds:

1.) Roll back to FileZilla 3.46.0 or older (or PuTTY 0.70 or older if utilizing psftp) 2.) Use public key authentication via Pagent or saved key file within FileZilla 3.) Ensure PuTTY is installed, and uncheck the checkbox for 'Attempt "keyboard-interactive" auth (SSH-2)' under SSH->Auth so the connection falls back to password auth. Make sure to save this change to the Default Settings connection profile within PuTTY. 4.) Use a different SFTP client that is not affected in this way.

In summary:

A change in PuTTY at commit 20a9bd5642 resulted in an inability to connect to ProFTPD that wasn't previously present. Since FileZilla relies on the PuTTY libraries and those were recently upgraded for FileZilla version 3.64.1, this problem has now presented itself. It isn't clear (to me) if this is a bug in PuTTY itself or ProFTPD, but I thought I would start with filing a bug here to get started, since FileZilla is used heavily by those accessing our systems, and this problem will become quite problematic as more and more people upgrade their FileZilla clients.

(Also, I saw bug #12066, but have not been able to reproduce that issue on my end. I suspect that issue has to do with pulling in PuTTY changes, but may not be due to the exact commit mentioned in this ticket.)

Thank you for your assistance.

If needed, we have a test environment we can provide to the FileZilla team for troubleshooting/testing purposes.

#1268 Inaccessibility do to focus issues normal 17 years 17 years
Description

Is there any chance that the focus issues discussed in 1473638 will ever be resolved? It looks like this item has been pending for over a year now. There've been several releases since then, but it doesn't seem as if this problem has been addressed. I understand that there are other issues still pending besides this one, but I'm raising this one again specifically because it makes the program occasionally inaccessible to users like myself who are visually impaired and rely on screen reading software.

#1295 Incomplete Contents of Directory normal 17 years 17 years
Description

Limited usability issue for users with many files:

Summary: When listing a directory it seems there is a limit of 2000 items Filezilla will display at a time. This affects at least versions 2.x through the lastest 3.0.1.

Reason for conclusion: I have a directory with maybe 2,200 files or so. When using my cpanel file manager I can see the last 200+ files but can't see them through filezilla. In my case I have 2 subdirectories in this directory. Filezilla displays the ".." up directory, my two subdirectory, then 1997 files, for a total of 2000 items in view.

Alternative fix: If this is a desired limit for security or possible bug problems, maybe there could be an option in settings that allows a person to override this max limit with a user entered max number of listings. This would allow those like me who keep huge listings of files to continue to use this excellent FTP program.

Thanks, Nick

#12599 Incomplete server directory listing normal invalid 2 years 2 years
Description

I'm not sure whether this bug is reporting directory listing failures on client-local or server directories, but I'm seeing a very abbreviated server directory listing for one of my server directories.

I can see them all fine by logging in to the server via Putty, and I can't see any variation in the permissions that would prevent the listing.

Curiously, of the directory and files that are listed, only one of them actually exists on the server, all the ones from the synchronized client listing (which is accurate) also appear in the server listing (those include the one listed that actually exists on the server), and then there are two listed in the server listing that do not exist on either side.

This seems like a quite serious bug, disabling FileZilla when the bug is triggered. I have no idea what triggers it, not all directory listings seem as incomplete as this one I was trying to access today.

#7996 Inconsistent / non-alphanumeric file list sort order normal duplicate 12 years 12 years
Description

I've uploaded a lot of files with the form a001.htm A001.htm a002.htm A002.htm etc

In the file list in the remote site window the order of the files is neither consistnet nor is it in strict alphanumeric order.

I would expect the lower case version of each pair to appear first, it does not.

Clicking the header to reverse the sort and then reverse it again does not affect the presented order.

#11047 Incorrect directory nesting when moving files on remote server normal fixed 8 years 8 years
Description

This is issue only happens when moving directories on the remove server.

Directory/File Structure: root root/app root/magento root/magento/app root/magento/app/file.txt

When I click-and-drag the root/magento/app directory up 1 level into root, I would expect the root/app directory to contain file.txt. Instead, FZ is nesting the app directories so I have root/app/app/file.txt.

This is easily reproducible and I do not believe it is intended behavior.

Makes magento/extension upgrades very difficult and just destroyed my dev site.

#11237 Incorrect filename parsing normal wontfix 7 years 7 years
Description

There seems to be a issue if a filename starts with a space character (or multiple spaces). The FTP client will trim out all spaces from a filename and display the rest of its string (this can also be a issue with a space as the last character)

I've discovered this after some users reported that they can't delete there own files (They have full read/write access) and the message was that "550 The system cannot find the file specified.".

So I've start investigating the issue and with multiple FTP clients: WinSCP, FileZilla, Total Commander, etc... All with the exact problem. The file can't be renamed/deleted/open/etc. The server is a "Microsoft FTP Service - Windows 2008 R2" which seems to accept filenames starting with one or multiple space characters :(

Command:	DELE A D R E S A Document1.doc
Response:	550 The system cannot find the file specified.

Command:	RNFR A D R E S A Document1.doc
Response:	550 The system cannot find the file specified.

I know, is one of the weirdest names I've seen so far....

So, to solve this I've used old school FTP command line

ftp> o my.ftp.server
Connected to my.ftp.server.
220-Microsoft FTP Service
[...]
230 User logged in.

ftp> cd file/path
250 CWD command successful.

ftp> dir
200 PORT command successful.
125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting.
02-27-17 07:54AM 544768 A D R E S A Document1.doc
02-27-17 08:45AM 753624 A D R E S A Document2.doc
226 Transfer complete.
ftp: 119 bytes received in 0,00Seconds 59,50Kbytes/sec.

ftp> delete "A D R E S A Document1.doc"
550 The system cannot find the file specified.

ftp> mdelete *
200 Type set to I.
mdelete A D R E S A Document1.doc? yes
250 DELE command successful.
mdelete A D R E S A Document2.doc? no

ftp> delete " A D R E S A Document2.doc"
250 DELE command successful.

So, by using a buggy FTP server witch accepts unusual filenames (starting with space characters) combined with weird people writing those names the result is no more access to those files anymore.

Please redesign the filename parsing for "LIST" command, so it will accept those anomalies.

This folder contains 129 files and 47 folders. Other FTP programs (like Internet Explorer) shows and handles the folder normally.

#9816 Incorrect timestamp YEAR applied by client 3.9.0.3 normal rejected 10 years 10 years
Description

I use the FileZilla client to both place and retrieve files on a secure server.

The client is changing the YEAR portion of the timestamp on files from 2014 to 2013.

I have my settings to "preserve timestamp" and the month, day and time remain correct, but the YEAR is changed from 2014 to 2013.

When I transfer a file from my network location to the server, the YEAR changes to 2013.

When I transfer a file from the server to my network, the same thing happens.

DISPLAY observations:

When I simply VIEW files newly placed on the server by a sender other than myself, in FileZilla the YEAR appears changed to 2013. However, when I VIEW that same file on the server with a different FTP tool (such as WinSCP) the YEAR on the file correctly appears as 2014.

Files on my own network that I simply VIEW in FileZilla remain unchanged with the correct 2014 YEAR. The YEAR on my files changes from 2014 to 2013 when I transfer to the server side using FileZilla.

This is NOT solely a display issue, because on files I transfer off the server to my network, the YEAR is actually changed on the file timestamp.

#1238 Incorrect year displayed normal 17 years 10 years
Description

Filezilla client connecting to AIX server via secure FTP shows the wrong year (2006) on certain files and directories. Those files and directories were created when the system date was rolled to test DST (from 02/27/2007:14:05:00 to 3/11/2007:01:00:00). The time then rolled at 01:59:59 to 03:00:00. Files created previous to DST rollover still show correct year. New directories dated after date/time was rolled back (to 02/27/2007:{current_time}), show the correct year if some files in it have a 2007 year (because files/directories were created before the DST time change).

An earlier reported bug may be related (1608370 "Year bug") but is not the same. When files are seen via another FTP client ("SecureFX") or with another telnet program ("PuTTy" or "SecureCRT" terminal), the year IS correct. So far, only Filezilla shows the anomaly.

#3664 Increasing CPU occupancy until 99% normal 16 years 10 years
Description

Uploading a large 3GB data file, filezilla starts with nominal CPU usage. However, the CPU occupancy continually increases during file transfer. Unfortunately, I was not able to capture the console output when it was at 98% as filezilla was no longer responding.

#3326 Increasing multiple file transfer limit normal 17 years 17 years
Description

Increasing the multiple file transfer limit did not do anything until I restarted the FileZilla client.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Start with multiple file transfer limit of 2 (defauly settings)
  • Place items from FTP server into queue
  • Increase the multiple file transfer limit to 10
  • Process queue

The queue will only have 2 simultanious file transfers.

  • Stop queue processing
  • Restart FileZilla Client

#5543 Inserting code/ class="gibberish" normal rejected 14 years 12 years
Description

I downloaded the newest version and this problem started. It prompted me to try the newest version. I have my website through 000webhost.

When uploading an html file, something is adding class to each img and setting it to a string of about 20 letters of gibberish. The result is that nothing appears on the webpage except for the link to their webhost.

It appears to be random as it is not the same when I check back later -- meaning, this class is set to something different each time I view the code on the same file. The last time I looked the inserted code looks like: class=" iqsnceuzmqugrweoheju" It is the same on the other newly loaded files -- meaning, they also have class=" iqsnceuzmqugrweoheju" in the same place. If I check back later, it will be a different string of letters, but it will be the same on each of the 4 new uploaded html files.

It has not affected previous files. I've used firebug to view the code on previous uploads, and they are fine. It only seems to affect files that I have uploaded in the last day or so.

I ran a comprehensive scan with Norton, and there are no problems on my computer. I have also reported this to the webhost.

Here is one of the affected pages/files address: http://sessionscoursework.webatu.com/fireworks/exercise_5/banners/TRIAL.html

If this can't be resolved quickly, how can I download the previous working version (people are complaining about the last TWO updates).

#1382 Installer requires acceptance of GPL normal 16 years 16 years
Description

The installer requires acceptance of the GPL. This is incorrect, since end users do not have to accept the GPL. The GPL is not an 'end user license'. It even says so in the GPL itself:

" 5. You are not required to accept this License, since you have not signed it. However, nothing else grants you permission to modify or distribute the Program or its derivative works"

If the user 'does not accept the GPL' of an application, then that just means they can't distribute it. It does not prevent them from using the application.

To fix this, the EULA agree/box should be removed from the installer.

#1211 Installer violates GPL normal 17 years 17 years
Description

The installer flat out says you *MUST* accept GPL to install FileZilla 2.2.29. However, The GPL V2 states:

Section 0:

"Activities other than copying, distribution and modification are not covered by this License; they are outside its scope. The act of running the Program is not restricted..."

And similarly, Section 5:

"You are not required to accept this License, since you have not signed it."

Could you look into rewording the license screen on the installer?

#12166 Integer Overflows when Processing Directory Listing normal wontfix 4 years 4 years
Description

There are integer overflows in enging/directorylistingparser.cpp and interface/remotelistview.cpp, when converting from the string received to int64_t. A number higher than the max of int64_t as the size returned in a directory listing will be improperly parsed and produce nonsensical results, such as a negative file size.

This happens on lines 220, 2644, and 2665 in directorylistingparser and 782 in remotelistview (not an exhaustive list).

Since this value is not used, other than displayed to the user, I do not think this can be exploited, nor crash the program.

#5195 Intermittent error transferring ASCII file as binary with transfer type set to Auto normal outdated 14 years 10 years
Description

I am running the most recent version of FileZilla: Version 3.3.1. Additional Client info is below (bottom).

I was transferring an ASCII file from my computer (WinXP) to a server (Linux). I noticed the file-size of both files (source and dest) was identical, which seemed odd. So, I verified the settings (below), and I deleted the destination file, and repeated the file transfer with the same outcome. The file-size on the client and the server was 1070 bytes.

Settings->Transfers->Filetypes->Default transfer type: Auto Settings->Transfers->Filetypes->Automatic file type classification: (list of file-types including txt)

Filename: abc.txt File abc.txt: 47 lines File abc.txt: 1070 bytes (DOS)

Then I changed the transfer type setting to BINARY, and I deleted the destination file, and repeated the file transfer. The file was written on the server with an identical file-size (as expected).

Then I changed the transfer type setting to ASCII, and I deleted the destination file, and repeated the file transfer. This time, the file written on the server with a smaller file-size (also, as expected). The file-size on the server was now 1023 bytes.

Finally I changed the transfer type setting back to original setting of Auto, and I deleted the destination file, and repeated the file transfer. This time, the file was written on the server with an smaller file-size (as expected). At this point, everything appeared to be working correctly, but the original failure and failed retry are unexplained.

#5381 Intermittent massive memory leak when transferring files normal outdated 14 years 12 years
Description

Occasionally when transferring files, FileZilla client uses 100% of the physical memory available (I have 8GiB in the machine, and FileZilla goes up to approx. 92% of that) and the disk starts to thrash, significantly degrading performance.

Nothing is logged during this.

Once the file in the queue finishes, the memory is all released correctly and the operating system eventually recovers.

FileZilla Client version 3.3.2.1, built 2010-03-21 but this problem has been happening for at least the last 6 months in various versions, if not longer.

Seems to be more apparent on larger files (several gigabytes) but this could just be because they take longer to transfer, so the chance of it happening increases. It generally happens suddenly in the middle of an existing transfer.

Unfortunately because it is so sporadic, it is hard to replicate.

#3505 Invalid Port Number normal 16 years 16 years
Description

If you type a textual address into the host box in either the quick connect or the manager, the program fails with the message:

Could not parse server address: Invalid port given. The port has to be a value from 1 to 65535

This same message occurs regardless of what port number is used.

There is no reason, that i am aware of, why the textual host value should not work (it works in all browsers and other ftp clients). If text is not supported, it should mention that and ignore the port number, (which was correct) until a numerical value for the host is entered.

#6531 Invalid filename display with client normal outdated 13 years 12 years
Description

We have several AIX servers running as FTP servers and using WU-FTPD, the same version of AIX and WU-FTP for all. We have clients connecting to our servers with Filezilla but the display for the filenames is off. The columns for the filename included the filename plus the filesize and the modified time so when they go to download they get message that the file doesn't exist. In some cases there are invalid characters in the name.

When using DOS command line there are no issues, everything shows correctly so I know it is an issue with the display of host type or character set or something. I have seen similar issues on the forum but have not found a solution. I have tried changing the host type and forcing the UTF-8 character display but nothing has worked.

Is there a fix for this or a parser that can be run to display the columns properly?

#1136 Invalid password sent from client to server with euro char high 18 years 18 years
Description

Environmental information:

  • One of our passwords contains a Euro character (€).
  • The tested connection type is FTP over SSH2
  • We use the .xml config file

In version 2.2.22, it worked fine. Since we updated to version 2.2.25, the password isn't accepted anymore.

When does the error happens? The error always happens when we try to open the one connection.

When does the error NOT happens? I can setup my connection properties, reenter the password there and click on "connect", then the server accepts my password. (But if I press "Save" and then connect again, it doesn't work, too.)

#10852 Inverse of timezone offset not applied when setting remote file timestamps normal fixed 8 years 8 years
Description

I want to transfers files up to my server that are actually newer than the version that is on the server. So I set the Preserve timestamp of transferred files and adjusted the server timezone offset to 3 hours, and enabled the directory comparison feature to use the compare modification time option.

To test this I created a new file on my computer in the root of the local directory that is synced with the server's site root directory and then refreshed the local window to show the new file.

The new file did not show with the yellow highlight.

I uploaded the new file and after it was copied to the server the version on the server had the same time as the local file plus three hours, but the file on the server was green highlighted indicating that it was newer than the version on my computer, which was just updated and except for the timezone difference was actually the same time.

I thought that the server timezone offset was supposed to take care of this kind of issue.

So two things: 1) Before the local file existed on the server, why wasn't it yellow highlighted in the local window?

2) After the local file was created/copied onto the server, why was it green highlighted in the server windows?

Thank you, Howard Brown

P.S. Some programs allow you to highlight and copy the version and other information contained in the About pop-up window, which helps when filling out trouble reports. You have a 'send to clipboard' function which is nice, but being able to copy the individual fields is also very helpful.

#10097 Issue for FileZilla Client(v3.10.0.1): Can't auto identify the character-set from the FTP server correctly normal rejected 9 years 9 years
Description

add a FTP site in Site Manager window, use the DEFAULT setting (NOT do any setting) for the character-set: Auto check.

connect to FTP server, browse and double click someone directory in the file list view which has some Chinese words, then the "remote site" and the directory-name of the directory-tree are showed the "Unrecognizable Code". (like Ticket #10096)

When I set character-set to "Use the custom character-set" [set the value is: GBK] in Site Manager, and re-do the above operations, the "remote site" and the directory-name of the directory-tree are all showed the correct Chinese words.

So.., I guess the issue comes from the function of Auto-Check character-set.

(My environment informations of the server and client are all in the Ticket #10096)

#8396 Issue while upgrading Filezilla client version from 3.5.3 to 3.6.0.2 high fixed 11 years 10 years
Description

Hi support,

Good Evening ! Recently i upgraded filezilla client version from 3.5.3 to 3.6.0.2 .

While using FileZilla client version 3.6.0.2 ( upload or download files and folder ) but i got below error :-- --- Error: GnuTLS error -110: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated. Error: Could not connect to server Status: Waiting to retry... Status: Connecting to 65.182.191.177:990... Status: Connection established, initializing TLS... Error: GnuTLS error -110: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated. Error: Could not connect to server

While Using same details i used in filezilla client version 3.5.3 , it was working fine / i successfully connected to FTP server.

Note :-- Secure FTP configured on the server (FTPS) . port - 990 allowed in firewall in server.

I don't understand , is it a bug in filezilla client version 3.6.0.2 or there is any setting missing on server side.

Kindly provide me resolution / Workaround for the same ASAP. I will be thankful for the same .

Regards,

Sahil Dua

#4278 Issues With Shell Transfer normal outdated 15 years 12 years
Description

Hello,

I am running Windows 7 beta 1 (build 7000) x64 Ultimate, and I know this is beta software, however I think this may be something to look into when W7 goes final.

I installed the shell add-on, and now if I drag a file from the remote location, it makes a folder named fz3-12352698462440 (sometimes different numbers will appear)

Anyone have any ideas? I would be more than happy to test them out. Thanks again for the great software! -noop

#4623 Issues with FTP over explicit TLS/SSL normal fixed 15 years 10 years
Description

We noticed a bunch of posts this morning in a forum on FTP on our contributor site. We checked our server logs and saw no issues. We tried filezilla, the version before this last update 3.2.6, and it worked fine. We also tried it with coreftp and it also worked fine. We then updated filezilla to the latest build, 3.2.6, and there seems to be some connectivity issues now. It uploads some, but not all, files, and some of the files that were uploaded show a file size of 0. There were also times where it would just freeze on upload and you would then need to refresh to get it to continueBelow is the log from my filezilla running 3.2.6 with the issues.

Description

Since the new update recently I am having serious issues with connecting and dropping out while transferring files to hosting server. If and when it does connect it fails after attempting to enter any other folders.

Error: Connection timed out Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing Response: 421 Too many connections (8) from this IP Error: Could not connect to server

I have already been in contact with my hosting service and everything is working there.

Can you tell me how long a fix will be done and a new update as I need to upload within the next 72 hours client files to server.

Kind regards.

#6525 JPEG file association Issue normal outdated 13 years 11 years
Description

I downloaded client version 3.3.5.1 today and when I tried to view/edit a JPEG image on the site, I get a message stating "No program has been associated to edit files with the extension jpg." I have tried changing the extension of the file on the site to .jpeg and still get the same message. I checked the file assciations in the Filezilla client and the box "Inherit system filetype associations is checked. I tried rolling Filezilla client back to a previous version and continue to get the message even though the previous version used to open file types without issue.

My website is still uploading JPEG files from our employees and the website still displays the JPEG files. However, after 1/14/20 FileZilla no longer displays any JPEG files even though I know these files exist on the webserver. This prevents me from backing up JPEG files since I cannot see them through the file viewer.

I am using version 3.43.3

#7760 Jan 01 1601 Directory normal worksforme 13 years 10 years
Description

The SFTP server is a IPSwitch WS_FTP Enterprise Server, version 7.5.1.2. There are two virtual directories in a home folder but a folder named "Jan 01 1601" is added to every site that I connect to. The folder does not exist at the file system and is not a virtual directory.

After some research the date "Jan 01 1601" has some significance in Windows. "January 1 of this year (1601-01-01) is used as the base of file dates[1] and of Active Directory Logon dates[2] by Microsoft Windows" -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1601

I've used tested the same site with WinSCP and native sftp in RedHat Enterprise Linux 5. The other SFTP clients does not display this folder.

See attached files for more details.

#11399 Just enable 'Use a different logfile each day low duplicate 7 years 7 years
Description

I have spent too much time looking for a way to name the log file produced by filezilla using month, day, year, time. How is this done? According to Filezilla's documentation, it says I need to look for: Just enable 'Use a different logfile each day

per this site:

https://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Server_logs

I looked for the Use a different logfile each day in the settings and it doesn't exist. Using filzilla version 3.27.1

I tried changing the file name using this info on a Win10 system client, but it doesn't work. ( https://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Date_and_Time_formatting )

My goal is to have the log file named by month, day, year, time. How is that done?

#9451 Keep asking "A File has Changed" popup! [Not fixed in 3.8.0] high outdated 10 years 7 years
Description

A ticket from 2 months ago reads fixed. I have yet to see the fix in the latest version. Every time I switch to the FileZilla window, I automatically have to select "No" every time. Dialog box reads: "A file previously opened has been changed." Then the option, "Upload this file to the server?". It is quite frustrating and sends files all over my directories if I select the default "Yes".

#9267 Keep asking "File has Changed" popup! normal fixed 10 years 10 years
Description

To reproduce the bug, do the following with FileZilla 3.7.4 Final version:

1.) Login to an ftp site 2.) Edit a php file for example and modify in the file and save. 3.) Now FileZilla will ask to if you want to replace that file in server because File has changed.

4.) Now edit another php file, don't save it, just close that file. 5.) BUG: FileZilla will again show the same popup (3.) again and ask to save.
