Yes... i think it was running IIS (6.0 or less). Also i noticed that the size of file downloaded was actually quite large than the size of file on server.
Steps to reproduce.
- Login in ftp.
- Locate a folder with some files inside it. (atleast one more than 5 mb)
- Drag and drop the folder from inside FileZila Client to a folder in ur Filesystem (outside the filezila client).
- Notice that for larger files, some excess data is downloaded and stored in ur filesystem.
I tried downloading the same files from Firefox and they copied fine.
Glad to supply more information if needed..

IIS is broken. It advertises resume capability but silently fails, leading to file corruption and to the described problem. Please upgrade to a better server.

I think,
since many other FTP Clients dont complain about IIS, so shouldnt FileZila, i personally like filezila and would like to continue to use it.
How hard would be the fix... i dont know the details... but i would like to invest some development effort in attempting to fix this...
Let me know of any HeadsUp if you can!
Thanks!
