Hi!

I'm desperate. I have 2 macs and in neither of them I can connect via ftp with tls. I can only connect via plain ftp (insecure). I think the problem is that when making the connection it does not ask me for the certificate. Other colleagues can connect with tls, and they DO ask to accept the certificate. Why don't you ask me for the certificate? I have tried everything, I have even formatted the computer. Have you had a similar case?

Hello, i am sumbitting this ticket i discovered a few years ago while browsing files on my server. i think the issue is the 20% specifically. but i havent done any specific testing. just thought i would let you know about this issue, that i am quite surprised hasnt been reported yet.

i have verfified if i remove the "%" from the folder name i have no problem entering the folder. its been a while since i was messing with is, but if i recall properly i created a folder with just "%" and that opened just fine but again probably should verify that.

Hello on windows 7 32 bit the client does not show files from the desktop how to solve this problem this problem exists on versions like 3.60.0 and 3.61.0

When I edit my settings and click save, I get an error about the program not being able to locate Notepad on Windows 11. I can see the options menus until I click save and then it just gives me the error.

"You have to enter a hostname" bug. Not sure if this issue occurs on Windows but I hope it gets fixed.

At the start and close of FileZilla I receive a dialogue box (attactehd) that displays an error loading queue.

I always keep the most up to date version of FileZilla running, and this pop-up is a real pain in the ass.

Nothing serious, but would be great if you caould have a look.

I'm running MacOS Monterey 12.6.3 with 6 displays on Mac Studio and the same OS version running on a Macbook Air M2 with only built-in display.

Starting with version 3.62.0 of the client app, as soon as you open it it goes to fullscreen mode and there is no way to get it out of fullscreen mode. The menu bar is also hidden and only becomes visible when one moves mouse cursor to the top of the screen.

When filezilla is open I can hit F3(mission control) and it clear shows that there are 2 separate spaces open: Desktop and Filezilla. The app is unusable right now for drag/drop operations from other apps.

I've tested all versions from 3.62.0 to 3.63.1 and the issue persists on both the Version 3.61.0 and earlier work without issue. I see there is a forum thread about this so I'm not the only person seeing this issue.

I just updated my FileZilla client for the first time in a while (via the prompt on startup), and after that it started giving me an error message every time it started or closed the program. The error on starting was:

Additional information:

• The program is installed to a different drive than the folder it is trying to write to. It is located at "E:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client" and the folder it is trying to write to is on the C drive (listed above). Not sure if this is relevant or not, but you said to be verbose.

• The file did exist in the location the program was looking, and the previous version of the client could read and write to it just fine.

• The error messages stopped showing up when I deleted queue.sqlite3 and let the program regenerate the file, although I have kept the old queue.sqlite3 just in case. This means that the issue is solved for me, but I figured you might still want to know that this file isn't always compatible if you forget to update for a while and then go up by a couple versions at once.

Issue-This version of Filezilla is not handling illegal characters correctly. Previous versions have not had this specific trouble to replace illegal characters from the server while transferring to a Windows system.

The attached screenshot shows 3 files that failed transfer from server to Windows directory due to the illegal Windows character colon (:) present in the 3 files. The first transfer initiated using the filezilla preference of Automatic for FTP File Types resulted in the 3 files failing.

When I changed the Filezilla preference to Binary for FTP File Types and retried the folder download, the same 3 files failed.

This is not correct behavior and is also strange because in the Filezilla queue area the illegal character colon has been replaced with underscore. You can confirm that the illegal character exists on the server by reviewing the 2 highlighted files on the server side of Filezilla remote window.

Note: When I initially tried to download multiple directories that contained illegal characters, filezilla basically crashed (no further input or output from filezilla window). Filezilla needed to be closed completely and restarted in order to resume normal operations.

By trial and error I was able to figure out that the illegal characters in the directories was what Filezilla took issue with. I decided to download the files individually from the server to see if it could complete successfully and they did. (See the 3 files outside of the directories in the screenshot). So, Filezilla can transfer files with illegal characters correctly individually, but from within a directory queue Filezilla is failing to transfer correctly.

I also confirmed that the files could be downloaded successfully with the illegal characters replaced by installing WinSCP and queuing the 5 directories I tried with Filezilla. All directories were successfully downloaded using the Automatic File Type preference and the illegal colon (:) characters were replaced with %3A.

Seems like I'll have to upload the attachments afterwards.

I have uploaded a bunch of files to a server, with unicode characters in the file names.

I'll attach a screenshot of how such characters look like in fileziulla in the server panel.

For comparison, I'll attach a screenshot of a terminal where I'm connected via SSH to the very same server and I've run a "ls" command: you can see the unicode characters properly rendered in the output.

My problem is exactly as described in Bug Report 12199, but I could not find an answer to it. When connecting to the server the certificate shows that it is not trusted and the buttons to override that and force trust are greyed out. If I use OK and move on it does connect. I have had my ISP check that the certificate is correct, and it is. Sadly it cost me a lot of money to do that. See attachments. I am using the latest Filezilla (it automatically updates, so that is always the case). This happens on both my machines which are Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and Windows 10 Home 21H2.

Settings checkbox for "Display momentary transfer speed..." indicates opposite of its value.

In Settings, under Interface, in the box headed "Transfer Queue," the checkbox for "Display momentary transfer speed instead of average speed" actually toggles the opposite of what it states (ie, it shows momentary speed when unchecked, and average speed when it is checked).

This is a legacy bug that has been around for quite some time. This bug does not affect functionality, so marked as low priority.

Dear good morning, for some time it is impossible for me to see the download of files from the server to the local folder tree. Im use Windows 7

Filezilla client v3.64.0 under Windows asks me to update almost every time I launch it, because there's a new version available, but: 1) Check for FileZilla updates automatically is set at "NEVER". 2) It doesn't even know what the new version is and only shows "Unfortunately information about the new update could not be retrieved." If an user chooses to not automatically check for updates, why is Filezilla spamming them with a new update dialog that doesn't even contain any useful information to begin with?

When using the file comparison feature, files are marked lightgreen when they in fact are not the same size and/or have different dates and times. Happens on different webhosters in different transfer modes SFTP, FTP and FTP/TLS. I realized this a few months ago, but thought the failure would be fixed shortly. Seems not.

Original issue was that I had FileZilla displaying on 2nd monitor attached to my notebook. Thereafter, without 2nd monitor attached, FileZilla displayed at the extreme right edge of the screen and I was unable to drag it over.

This is the kind of situation a clean reinstall should resolve, but after uninstall, reboot, and reinstall, the problem persisted. I had to go through Windows registry and delete every FileZilla key I could find to resolve the issue.

Then it displayed correctly upon reinstall, but another problem appeared, as reported in bug #13048 "new Bug report". I was getting "error loading the transfer queue from "C:\User\patri\AppData\Roaming\FileZilla\queue.sqlite3".

This required uninstalling again, then deleting the FileZilla folder at C:\Users\userAppData\Roaming\.

After another uninstall, reboot, reinstall, finally everything working well.

Just downloaded FileZilla Client to my new computer and I'm seeing an issue I've never had before. In the "View" tab I have Tool bar and Quickconnect bar checked but they are not showing on my screen, so I have no way to connect to any servers. My computer and FileZilla are both totally up to date and I've played around with other settings. I've also looked through the forums and can't seem to find anything related to this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am on the paid MacOS client from the App Store.

FZ has worked perfectly for years, but broke after my upgrade to Sonoma 14.4. (I understand that this is a buggy release from Apple.)

As the attached image shows, neither file pane populates.

Both MacOS and FZ have been updated as of March 22 2024.

Please assist.

Using FileZilla 2.1.4b, I can FTP files to Xbox normallyat a high speed, like several Mbps. Upgrading to FileZilla 2.1.5 and higher (I tried the latest 2.1.8b) the FTP uploads slow down to around 20-70K/sec. FTP downloads to PC are fast and it is just the uploads that are slow in later versions.

I am using EvolutionX and XBMP 2.4 as FTP server.

The capability to upload a modified file appears only to work for the default program to edit/view files. For example, I have my text editor as the default program. If I modify a .txt/.log/.ini file on the server, when I save and close it asks if I want to upload the modified file to the server. I also have an association for .xls files to excel. I am not prompted for the automatic upload if I change one of these files.

If, however, I set Excel to be my default program and set up the .txt/.log/.ini files as non-default associations, the behavior is reversed. Excel files will prompt me for automatic upload when changed, but the text files will not.

It just seems like it should work for all files, whether they are opened by the default view/edit program or not.

I'm connecting to an FTP server that sometimes takes up to 30 seconds to provide a banner and password prompt, but once it does connect, it stays up and provides very good transfer rates.

Is there a way to increase the wait time for the initial banner?

Filezilla 2.2.13c, Windows XP SP2. Otherwise, the utility looks awesome.

It is difficult and frustrating to pause an upload / download over a set of files.

Steps:

1. Begin a transfer with small files [ ~ 20kb each, ie,

webpages ]

2. Scroll down
3. Select multiple files [ more than 20 ]
4. Pause.

Expected: Filezilla lets me pause the files I selected and doesn't mess with the UI.

Actual: I can't maintain the selection I had, because as soon as one uploads, the list recenters the view - despite me being in the middle of selecting things. I lose the highlighted files I had and have to start over. I can't select a lot of files at once. I can't sort the list, despite clickable heading buttons [whcih would suggest i could]. I get frustrated by having to select 5 files, pause them, unfocus them, select 5 more. I cannot pause a collection of files if any of them are already paused. So, if I highlight ONE file that's already paused, I can't change the other ones. The same applies if a file has messed up during transfer [ I can't pause failed files ].

Solutions: These bugs make it unpleasant to use filezilla because I'm wary of making a mistake, dropping in the wrong directory to upload. If this area was *bigger* by default, and did not move when I had my mouse in there AND let me set states that are already set [ie, ignore those items], I would be a much happier user.

I've been using FileZilla for a while, but early this year (March or so), during the same version (2.12/13), I believe, I started getting problems with sudden, unexpected timeouts.

It usually happened right after I logged in and did something (like create a new folder, move a file or switch to a different folder). I also got timeouts during uploads, always when FileZilla sent the keep-connection-alive-comands.

I uploaded two files, each with a different example from the log window.

I hope I'm not repeating a bug, but none of the titles I looked at resembled anything I encountered (they are often vague, anyway, like 'buggy upload' and such...).

3. When selecting the components to install, uncheck

If debug tracing is enabled and you connect to a GSS enabled server, the client crashes with a C++ Library Runtime error. Does not crash if using SFTP or non- GSS FTP (domain not listed in GSS enabled servers). Crashes whether or not you have Kerberos tickets. Last line in debug logs is the server's 220 ready message:

Paths without leading '/' character won't work.

I'm trying to retrieve a directory listing from a ftp server. I suspect that the listing fails because the path on the server doesn't have the leading '/' character in it. So for example if you would connect to a normal Linux server the path could be "/example-path/", but on this server the correct path is "example-path/". The PWD command returns the correct path (without leading '/') from the server so the problem is not with the return value from server. The problem is that Filezilla doesn't understand the returned path.

Every command line client on Windows and Linux I have tested work with this server. So the problem is not with the server, even it does use quite unusual directory structure.

The problem is with both FTP and SFTP.

I edited the log by replacing information with [SENSORED] tags, even the path it returns. Apologies about this, but I'm working in a company where I don't have permission to reveal any information about the systems we use, not even the paths on the server. But I hope the explanation above will give you enough information about the problem.

On my system, FileZilla Client 3.0.1 takes approximately 25 seconds to start. This time period is fairly constant whether or not the file is cached.

FileZilla 2.x had relatively short startup times.

Trying to upload a 20MB mp3 file to this server with Filezilla always seems to hang after the first 200kB. I have been using FTP Commander for several years, uploading a file like this to the same site every week without problems. I have tried to use various versions of Filezilla (3.0.7.1, 3.0.9.3 and now 3.1.1.1) because I would prefer to use Filezilla if it would work. But it never does. It always hangs up when trying to upload these large files. I can upload small text/html files, but it always hangs on the large mp3 files. I am trying to view a FTP server which has a folder with a period in the begining, it does not show up. Though when I type in the path manually it will browse to that folder See images.

I get this error message when I open the program (see attachment). I'm running 3.1.1.1.

hi, i can't access an ftp in aruba.it using my macbook. i get the following message Response: 530 more info : hosting.aruba.it/password Error: Could not connect to server i have accessed other ftps using filezilla with my macbook and had no problem. i have been able to access the same aruba ftp using my pc and it has worked without a problem. i have obviously used the same access information for both the pc and mac. i have also rebooted the mac, closed and reopened filezilla. any ideas please?

I was tring to download files from filezila to my computer by highlighting multiple files, then draging them and droping them to a folder in my network. It did not work, a gave me the failed transters message, after a few trys with the same result, I refreshed fillzilla. When I did this the whole folder I was in deleated all information.

Queued files are NOT being converted to successful transfers after the file has been successfully transfered. The transfer seems to complete, but the file remains in the "Queued Files" folder and is never moved to the "Successful Transfers" folder. The files I am transferring are Zip files and are being successfully transferred. I am having no problems with the transferred files being corrupted.

I did not select an accessable folder on the host and tried to upload a file. FileZilla client was looping. Once a critcal error condition is recieved from the host it should have stoped and reported the error. I stoped the loop by selecting an accessable folder.

Version 3.1.1.1 O/S Windows XP Home (Service Pack 2) When uploading images to my website gallery (typically 400 to 500 images - all v. small JPEG's) not all upload. A black box with a little red square in a small white box appears instead. Have tried dragging & dropping individual files concerned but this doesn't work. Have deleted entire gallery & re-tried many times but problem remains.

1.ftp server change port to 3000,but not use default port(21). 2.FileZilla connect to ftp server with port 3000.It has no problem 3.but (after FileZilla connected server),when FileZilla connect to server has problem,FileZilla will connect to server with port 21 but no 3000 again and again.So FileZilla can't connect server.

I use FileZilla to transfer files between computers on my network. I used to have a problem with it only transferring files at 10mbps, then one version the bug was fixed, and now the bug is back again. I don't know how many versions back it was reintroduced.

It happens both with ftp and sftp transfers now. I think before it only happened with sftp tranfers. I know it isn't my network because I can transfer files using scp at the full 100mbps.

During FTP downloads mouse moves erratically (very jerky overshoots or jumps wildly) If by luck the you can click "Toggle processing of the transfer queue" the mouse immeadiately responds normally as it does as soon as the download complete.

I've seen similar problems if interrupts are disabled for too long and mouse movement events are missed.

This bug occurs on both 3.1.1.1 and 3.1.2 prior to upgrading I used 2.2.32 and never experienced this problem

this applies to versions 3.1.1 and 3.1.2. when using site snoopy.wiwi.uni-bonn.de, whenever i save the site in site manager and then try re-connecting, the (host), port, user, comments, default local directory, default remote directory, adjust server time offset and encoding are set to 'snoopy.wiwi.uni-bonn.de'. reinstalling, deleting all (or just this) setting(s) doesn't change this.

I rebuilt my mac a few days ago and hence had to reinstall filezilla.

This morning (sept. 16) I got an update notice from Apple that system updates are available and I installed them. I am currently running version 10.5.5 of os x on an iMac with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

I later went to the filezilla web site and downloaded the intel mac version of the software:

I uncompressed the downloaded file and dragged the program into the applications folder.

When pressing the DC button, the file list disorders and some files are just displayed as a white space, no description, filesize or anything, just a clickable blank line. Guess this is not so important, but it's a bug and it must be reported to the authorities XD

VERSION INFO: Filezilla client 3.1.2 and some recent earlier versions.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When clicking on the Desktop folder shortcut appearing in the Local site's tree view (remote site is Linux, so I could not test if behavior is the same on Remote site's tree view), the hard disk of my computer starts spinning like crazy for about 10 to 15 seconds before control is given back to the UI.

This behavior might be related to a fix / enhancement implemented to solve tickets 1088 and 1089.

Latest version of downloaded today, ie 3.1.3.

When I tried to log into my server, for the first time it required a Port number. When I put in Port 21 (which is the correct port), I get the error message:

Could not parse server address: Invalid port given. The port has to be a value from 1 to 65535.

I've just spent around 4 hours working on updating my web site, the fact that I now cannot upload it to the server does not best please me.

ver 3.1.3 for power pc is having startup issues.

It stops responding for a while then finall starts up. There are no error messages.

I am trying to upload some files (100 Mb or more). I was using last version of Filezilla FTP client (3.1.3). The file is uploading till it is locked (1.6 or 1.7 MB). From this point, my internet connection is locked and I can't navigate web or ftp, till I restart my system. I am using now Filezilla 3.0.9.3 and all is OK. Thanks

PSFTP works fine, and Filezilla works *sometimes* but not often. Have firewall between client/server, cannot turn off... but since it works sometime, assume firewall not the issue. When I turn on debug mode, get following trace:

Hi there,

I've noticed suddenly that when i upload or download multiple files at the same time, Filezilla appears to be transposing and mismatching files.

Here's a site where this occurs - i've noticed that it's swapping the content of one file for another file, but at the same time the file name stays the same...just the content within the file/s is different. ​http://www.newton-truong.com/test/index.html

This doesn't occur when i transfer only one file at a time - ​http://www.newton-truong.com/ti/index.html

I've tested it on other servers and the same thing happens. It does appear to mismatch the same files on the same server each time. However, on a different server, it mismatches different files.

Im kinda just about to give up with filezilla :( doesnt happen all of the time but 60% of the time when i upload a php file that ive just edited using the left click edit or left click open save then upload pops it over to the server but all the code ends up on one line completely screwing up the php because all the code after the comments is classed as comments, tried many work arounds and it doesnt work.

To make things even nicer, sometimes when i open files from the server they have an extra line or 2 between every line of code, whats happening? this has happened on the latest 3 versions ive downloaded.

Process queue freezes when some file is downloading. To resume it for some time the mouse moving is needed. It seems wxGTK's message queue freezes.

When connecting to an FTP server running on z/OS, I cannot change directory using Filezilla. Running Cygwin's FTP-client, it works fine.

I have tried changing the settings, using various combinations of UTF-8, passive and active mode, etc, but nothing changes the outcome.

While copying Filezilla shows an copy error, saying that a file already exists, however, this file is inside file bulk i'm transmmiting. Also it sais it could override the previous file with another with the same name; but size are different and the original file size is right.

Since yesterday, FileZilla (3.1.3.1) keep crashing when I'm uploading file. I'm trying to upload file (Joomla core) to my FTP server. When a specific file, it crash, and exit. It does like that to another file (CMSMS core, etc).

I use the 3.1.3.1 client to connect to a Filezilla 0.9.27 beta server as anonymous. The directory is always empty. It is the same case using non-anonymous account. Attached is the message log for the anonymous case.

Other FTP clients do not exhibit the same issue.

On my System with Vista HomePremium SP3 not every password is approved when updating to the newest Version, some passwords are rejected now which workt former with the 3.0.6 Client-Version.

When you scroll with the mouse in the "Queued Files" transfer window, the graphic bar (green percentage thing) doesn't scroll properly, and it sort of screws things up.

I'm on filezilla 3.1.2 (using the ubuntu package from the repository).

FZ fails to list the remote directory. FZ version is v3.1.4.1, server: ServU v6.1 on WinXP SP3. See attached log, plus a log of another ftp client that works. (The error is probably cased by the ASCII listing mode - I'm no programmer, I just compared the logs)

I have created an empty directory on web server - /xxx/yyy. I upload a file - trans.gif, 44 bytes.

Transfer queue shows a green 100% progress bar which then sits there for ages. It seems to be correctly transferred eventually. The log window shows what seem to be two attempts with the second one failing because the file is already there:

FileZilla 3.1.5

This no longer works? How is that a feature?

I used latest version of Filezilla client, but i have found one problem in my one website where login connection is established but stop in file directory listing and shows error like "Failed to retrieve directory listing". I tried to passive mode, and also tried to set 21 port. but could not success. But when i tried to connect with another software ws_ftp_pro, i could connect. Why i can not connect with filezilla ?

uploads simply stall after 2 or 3 successful file transfers. this has never happened before this recent update.

When the filesize is 0 there is an unhandeled exception that sping up

I'm on a Windows XP SP 2 Intel Pentium 4 2 ghz. I'm using FileZilla version 3.1.2 and attempting to upgrade to 3.1.5. The same problem occurred while attempting to upgrade to 3.1.2.

When I attempted to upgrade to 3.1.2 and now 3.1.5 the client is freezing and the installation does not complete. At the point during the install when it asks where I want to save the installation file, I choose my desktop. When I do this, it places the beginnings of the file on the desktop but the installation fails. As I attempt to delete that incomplete installation file, windows tells me that the file is in use:

Cannot delete FileZilla_3.1.5_win32-setup: It is being used by another person or program.

Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

I've rebooted several times and still receive this message.

I was able to successfully install 3.1.2 if I used the 'My Documents' folder instead of the 'Desktop'. However, the incomplete installation files for 3.1.2 remains on my desktop.

It's been a few times that I uploaded a bunch of files, and while it's uploading, I change remote directory as I have something else to see... Well, some random local files get uploaded to the current directory I'm browsing!! How neat is that? It's only one every so often.

When building the queue, thank you to save the remote directory AT TIME of building the queue, and stick to it please.

This bug has been on for years now. Really counter productive.

I dont know why because this problem happen at random (but most of the time with a directory with so many files into) The permission of the folders are all the same read\modify for my user.

I upgraded - through the FileZilla auto upgrade - from the previous version to 3.1.5. After the upgrade when I right click on a text file on the ftp site and go to view/edit the file starts to open in TextPad v4.7.3 and I get the following error: "DDE execute request failed: a request for a synchronous execute transation has timed out."

After Xing out of the error notice the file does open in TextPad.

This did not happen in the previous version.

FZ Server 0.9.27 beta Error message: 425 Can't open data connection

This is occuring only with users who upgrade to 3.1.5 client.

Before upgrading they were using 3.1.3.1 without any problems.

Users are using "Servertype FTPS - FTP over implicit TSL/SSL" connections.

I receive new version notifications without problem.

The download fails when Filezilla tries to connect to sourceforge servers. The CPU usage increase up to 99% and filezilla freeze. I need to close it with CTRL+ALT+DEL and kill the process.

I tried several times during the day. Always the same freeze.

It starts with a size of 35,891 bytes when I send it, but when it is written on the site in /2008-09/msoccer, it shows as a length of zero bytes.

The trace appears normal. but the overwrite prompt I had gotten indicated the target had a size of zero bytes (which requires me to resend the file two or three times to make sure it uploads properly. In FileZilla the "Remote site" field read:

. It is an absolute path. If I add "/logs" to that path, it should read:

As I see it, when sftp is chosen, the "Remote site"-field should always be left empty by the program. The path written there should be considered relative paths to the current, and when enter is pressed, it should be added to the current path, with an "/" as a separator.

FileZilla should not use "[]" when in sftp mode. Maybe that is the main problem?

When FTP is used the dot "." is the correct separator between levels in the folder hierarchy, but apparently not when Sftp is used.

I found out that the error does not appear when using plain FTP. It is when using SFTP it malfunctions.

So I compared how Puttys psftp acted. Here is a complete conversation:

Part 2: ==================================================================== When SFTP is used, FileZilla needs to recognize that files like *.DIR;* is lower levels of directories/folders, so that they should be listed as folders in the Remote site folder tree.

For Uploading/Downloading of files i have selected the option as "ASK FOR ACTION" yet the client some times misses asking the same & overwrites the file.

but while overwriting in the summary it shows the command as "STOR with the file name" but the option doesnt pop up & it overwrites automatically

If I have FileZilla open and then enable a secondary monitor, every pop window that FileZilla thereafter tries to create will be tiny (just a pixel or so) and in the upper left hand corner of the primary monitor (as if no dimension or location parameters were ever passed). Also these windows are not resizeable so I have to close FileZilla and reopen it and then everything works as normal. These pop windows include but not limited to the Options window and the Overwrite? prompt window but essentially every box that is attempted will not display correctly. I have my task bar attached to the top of my screen. When FileZilla opened the first time, the top of the FileZilla window was obstructed by the task bar (see the screenshot). In order to move the window, I have to unlock the task bar and then shrink it to uncover the menu bar of FileZilla.

I have problems with uploading files after interruptions . The file will not resume they just overwrite no matter setting: default , overwrite if new source or larger file. it is as if it forgets where its uploading to.

When the update-manager has downloaded the newest version it cannot run automatically the .exe(see the picture attached) so I have to manually find the .exe and run it.

I am totally in love with this client and have been using Firezilla for more than an year now but your latest version is so disappointing. It takes some 10 seconds to refresh my local files and the remote ones. It just goes on loading and then refreshes. This also happens when I delete a file.

Please fix this as soon as possible.

Could not load c:/users/me/appdata/roaming/filezilla/filezilla.xml, make sure the file is valid, fot this session default settings will be used and any cahnges to the settings are not persistent

I HAVE seen the answer on similar ticket ​http://trac.filezilla-project.org/ticket/4015 and checked that the file is valid and can be accessed but still have the problem after last update.

I am using the latest of FileZilla 3.1.5.1. OS-Windows XP with SP3, RAM-2GB, Processor-Intel Core 2 Duo 1.80. I am uploading around 160000 jpg images to our site using FTP. I am using the anonymous account for the FTP. For the first time about 30000 images uploaded successfully. Suddenly the system restarted due to power fluctuation. I have again started uploading the same selecting the option "Overwrite is different size or source newer". But this time FileZilla crashed. I have again tried for 3 to 4 time but got the same. I have reinstalled FileZilla but the same problem occurs.

In my Vista 64 machine, FileZilla installs by default in "c:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla FTP Client" but when I try to connect to a FTP using SFTP I get the error:

It should be launching the executable from "c:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla FTP Client" instead of "C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client\fzsftp.exe".
