FTP upload to Xbox slow

Using FileZilla 2.1.4b, I can FTP files to Xbox normallyat
a high speed, like several Mbps. Upgrading to FileZilla
2.1.5 and higher (I tried the latest 2.1.8b) the FTP
uploads slow down to around 20-70K/sec. FTP
downloads to PC are fast and it is just the uploads that
are slow in later versions.

I am using EvolutionX and XBMP 2.4 as FTP server.

This bug report has been closed due to inactivity and has possibly
already been solved.

You can reopen this report if the issue still exists in the
latest version of FileZilla (Server).

I can confirm this is still a bug as of FileZilla Client 3.5.3 on Linux (Fedora 16). I tested Client 3.5.3 on Windows XP and couldn't reproduce.

Large file transfers to an FTP server on the XBox - either to XBMC which uses a port of FileZilla Server, or to other FTP servers - fluctuate around for the first ~30 seconds of the transfer then settle around 500kb/sec. Doing the exact same transfer with another FTP client (I am using gFTP) start at 10Mb/sec and stay there.

This is not due to the "BOOST-MODE" which some of these FTP servers implement (ticket:2293 on this Trac), that is for speeding up transfer of many small files. I am transferring single large files over 100Mb.

How can I help troubleshoot this for you? I'm happy to provide strace and tcpdump from the client if that would help. If you need ltrace/mtrace/gdb I'm happy to provide this too, but I'll need help with meaningful commandline switches.

Can you try FileZilla 3.7.0.1 just to the if the most recent version still has that problem?
