Data connection SSL warning: SSL3 alert write: fatal: bad record mac

I have several two clients that upload logs to a FileZilla server 0.9.41.
For some reason I receive the following dialog on the server during transfers. I read other articles that had a patch for this problem, but I am unable to access the patch from the previous tickets. The post was from 4 years ago, so I wondered if it's still applicable.

Is this a bug with other FTP clients or with the server? Can you use most recent FileZilla client and test against the server? Do you still have those problems?
