Description
Hi, I noted that dragging a file from local to remote
(ie from desktop to the remote window) works
perfectly, while If I drag'n'drop a file from a remote
server to the desktop, it won't work.
Can you please fix it?
Thank you

I can't judge it D&D is better in FileZilla Beta 3 but it still lacks a very important function:
drag and drop from external windows like Explorer under Windows.
That is you pick up a file in explorer and drop it into the FileZilla Window. Whereever you drop it, it gets uploaded to.
Looking forward to seeing this in FileZilla someday.

I tried FileZilla 3 beta 8 on FreeBSD using KDE as desktop environment and dragging files from the desktop into FileZilla worked. And from what I heared it works on Microsoft Windows as well.
Can you check FileZilla 3 beta 8 (or later) to see if it works the way you imagined?

Oh, I right now tested that and dragging a file from remote to a location outside of FileZilla 3 doesn't work.

FileZilla 3 fully supports drag&drop.
Internal drag&drop, drag&drop from Explorer into FileZilla as well as from FileZilla into Explorer has been implemented.
Please note that due to technical limitations, drag&drop from FileZilla into other programs is only supported under Windows.
Improved D&D support is planned for FileZilla 3.
