Component version: | 1.0.1 | Operating system type: | |
Operating system version: | Windows Server 2016 |
Description
Have just upgraded from 0.9.6 to version 1.0.1 and have found that systems can no longer authenticate.
Traced the issue to the fact that usernames in the new version are case sensitive but not in 0.9.6
Please correct to remove the need for case match on usernames
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
I had the same problem and would also prefer usernames were not case sensitive. If there is a need to make them case sensitive for better support of *nix OSes, it could be made an optional thing. System default at a minimum, ideally also with the ability to override the system default on a per-user basis.
