When i open for editing 2 different files with same name from 2 different server, and then i close the first file without saving it, and i modify the second and save it, it gets saved on the first server, not is own.

The -s command line switch to load a stored session does not bring up the prompt for password if the session was saved with type "normal" and "don't save password"..... and fails to log in..

Executing 'FileZilla.exe ​sftp://myhost.com', it still connects to port 21, rather than port 22 by default (though it correctly uses SFTP rather than FTP).

Also, it logs in as 'anonymous@…'. I think it would be preferable to prompt for a username for sftp links (there are relatively few anonymous SFTPs). It may be nice to pompt for a username after unsuccessful anonymous access for all protocols anyway...

When a new mass-storage device is available (e.g. an external hard drive on USB), refreshing [F5] the local tree view does not show this new drive. The new drive _will_ appear if FileZilla is restarted.

Not urgent, as the lower pane (local directory view) lists the new drive at the 'My Computer' level.

Like the prev. bug, but also FZ ignores starting spaces and puts the files in queue without them. Then - critical error.

When connecting to ftp.sunet.se and going into, for example: /pub/Linux/distributions/ubuntu/ubuntu-cd/feisty/

Hi, with filezilla 3.0 , when i want to ftp from my pvr(KISS DP558) a file named AUX - Mar 11-09-2007 20_30_21.vob In my pc folder it appears as "30" (without extension) with a size of 0ko, and filezilla says the transfert has been successful! this problem doesnt occur with filezilla 2.2.32 with the same settings(pasv mode and ascii file "auto") best regards

On the Windows build version 3.0.11 and earlier versions, Alt-H cannot be used for the Help pull-down since it is in use for the Host field. Another key needs to be assigned for one of these.

FTP client fails when connecting to a FANUC robot. Before, I was using Filezilla 3.0.2.1, and everything was working great. I upgraded to 3.0.11.1 today and now it doesn't work. FANUC documentation claims support for 2.2.31.

FANUC uses a default directory: "md:\". So when you log in you are not at "\", but at "md:\". Maybe this is causing the error?

when trying to upload a file, times out before directory can be listed, then server files disappear. a log file is attached documenting this behavior.

Using version 3.1.1.1 on Windows Vista Ultimate

Attempting to download very large file (about 7GB). First attempt failed at about 2GB. When attempt to download again, system detects existing file and prompts for action. Tried twice to use the "Resume" option and both times, the software crashed and would not recover without help. I had to close the program both times.

Choosing "Overwrite" seems to work fine. If it does not get past the 2GB threshold, I will update the ticket.

In the quickconnectbar.xrc file:

• if the IP element is hidden (ID_QUICKCONNECT_HOST), there is no problem. The default IP or the IP specified in command line is well used.

• if the Port element is hidden (ID_QUICKCONNECT_PORT), the application craches! I need to hide the 2 elements and I don't understand why we don't have the same behavior. Is it possible to fix this problem please?

When updating via Help->Check for updates..., FileZilla attempts to connect to a URL to download the new version, but the progress bar stays empty and FileZilla freezes and the dialog gets "(Not responding)". Killing the FileZilla process and retrying eventually works, but not necessarily on the second try.

Seems like FileZilla might be handling update-download connection failures poorly.

Versions: 3.1.1 and 3.1.1.1 (Not 3.1.2 since there hasn't been an update to download with it yet.)

I have a version, the latest on my desktop that updated ok. My laptop, I get the message that says update available. I click on it, with the normal save etc., but it just sits there. Nothing downloads. I get around it by downloading the latest version from your web site and install it, but it will not update when I get the notice, I have no idea what is wrong. This was the last 2 updates, always worked previously. Updates work just fine on my desktop and I running Vista. On my laptop, I am running XP.

I wanted to delete all files in a folder beginning with "H", so I typed "H" to jump to the first file. The file was highlighted, so I didnt't click on it explicitly. Then I scrolled to the end of my desired selection and clicked the last file while pressing the shift-key. All files beginning with "H" were selected ... so I thought, but actually ALL FILES from the top of the (ascending by names sorted) filelist were selected, including all folders, i.e. much more files have been deleted, because this accidently hadn't come to my attention. This bug seems to exist since Version 3.x of the FileZilla-Client, in 2.2.32 selecting multiple files works correctly.

If the default remote directory for a web site is invalid, the Windows Error Reporting (aka Windows Crash Dialog) appears stating, "SFTP module in FileZilla based on PuTTY's psftp component has stopped working" and the helper process fzsftp is terminated.

At first I thought it had to do with the 255 character filename limit that one sometimes runs into but, when I tried to open the file from the temp directory using the exact same editor, it worked.

The site manager has a button labeled "Discard" for what might usually be labeled "Cancel." The different wording is not necessary, and can create confusion. For example (being the idiot that I am?), I first assumed that the "Discard" button would... discard the information on the current screen. That is, I thought the information would be deleted instead of the changes (if applicable) canceled.

Filezilla indicates that there is an update and I click through to get it. It gets the description and then fails to download the update file. It does create the file but it is of zero length. The program then fails to be responsive requiring forced termination.

This has happened for several versions.

Today I tried the update but with the file of zero length present and it did d/l the update file.

Since version 3.1.3, setting a download speedlimit of 100 KB/s causes endless connection timeouts.

As soon as I remove the limit, I get no timeouts at all.

Queue displays "MB" as "MiB" in lower right status line

On two occasions since installing version 3.1.3.1., when i have made file transfers by the usual drag and drop method, the original directory or file has been moved rather than copied. As i make a lot of transfers every day, this is concerning, as i do not now know what other files may have been moved without me noticing.

While transferring a file with the client(v3.1.3.1), if I: 1) Right click on the file being transferred in the transfer queue 2) Select Default file exists action... 3) Select a non-default action 4) Click OK 5) Right click on the file being transferred in the transfer queue 6) Select Default file exists action...

Now, I notice that nothing has changed.

The upload bar covers the scroll bar in the file transfer list. I think it is caused by hiding the status of the file transfer. It is tough to explain. There is still a small space where the status should be and when it is above the scroll bar the upload bar will cover the scroll bar. You might have to scroll up and down once and then click on a file that is uploading. I am using the latest nightly build, it has been happening since the nightly builds after 3.1.3. I should have a screenshot attached to this ticket.

I have been trying to upload a 1.2GB file with FileZilla via the queue. Not once has it uploaded fully but that could be due to networking issues. However FileZilla crashes if there is an error in the upload process.

Also on smaller files the upload sometimes does complete but the file is corrupted i.e. the byte sizes mismatch.

This happens on both the latest stable release 3.1.3.1 and the release candidate 3.1.4-rc1.

How can i help to further troubleshoot as i am not sure if there is any trace/log left.

Of course, FileZilla shows the error as expected ("Failed to retrieve directory listing"), but no directory tree is shown and so I can´t do anything.

Therefore, I propose the following in case the last used directory cannot be found:

• Change into directory one level up (perhaps try two, three, ... levels up, but this would prevent the other options down below)
• If that fails, change into default directory from site settings (if available)
• If that fails, change into root directory

I'm using Filezilla Client 3.1.3.1 (barely updated) on OS X Leopard (updated). I'having the following error: if I try to upload a file from a local folder to the remote folder and I drag from the local folder of filezilla to the remote folder of filezilla it takes a lot of time to release the file in the new folder and start the download. I didn't have this error before with the previous version. Drag & drop ( I mean inside Filezilla ) it's not working properly...it works actually but I have to double click somewhere in the remote folder to drop the file and start the tranfert...that's weird!! I had to backup some files for a computer under Ubuntu and Windows Vista. On Vista, everything is good but on Ubuntu, Filezilla freeze before starting each file transfer. Sometimes, there is 40 seconds between 2 transfers. More connections at once you allowed, more freezes you have. With only 1 connection, it freeze too.

System: Laptop Intel Core 2 duo 1.8 GHz Ethernet 10/100 chipset

Server: FileZilla server under Windows XP SP3

How to reproduce: 1- Take large number of files (use for example 2-3 javadoc folders) 2- Add this files to the queue 3- Start download or upload

The summary says it all: if you delete a directory on the remote side, the directory contents pane will update, but not the directory tree, resulting in a very confused FileZilla. Refreshing directory listings does work around this issue.

I deleted a directory which had two levels of sub-directories beneath it on the FTP protocol.

On my win xp, every time FZ ask me to download a new version, after few checks it tries to download the new file but nothing happens and the program freezes. The "cancel" button is not enabled and I have to kill the program.

On OS X, for long the help menu has been duplicated, the content of FileZilla's help menu does not populate the "OS" help menu. Hence there are two "help" menus on the screen.

Moreover, the FileZilla's help menu (where there is the update mechanism) tends not to draw properly after having been used once in the session.

This has been duplicated on two MacBook Pro's at clean build stage.

Using current release of FileZilla, then tried a nightly build and then the previous stable release. The error appeared in all three. Used AppZapper between installs to ensure all files were deleted.

Using Version 3.1.4.1 for my MAC OS 10 trashes my sitemanager.xml file and will not import it from a backup. The error manifests after install and the second tiome it launchs. Error begins with "can not load filezilla.xml". When I remove it, it then states "can not load sitemanager.xml". The sitemanager.xml file has a damaged record for an SFTP connection that uses port 20202. After the user entry the is garbage for the balance of that server record. The rest of the data is not damaged. Attached is a copy of the damaged <sever></server record.

When the selection is at the first item, I can press "001" on the main keys to jump to the third item. Though, this doesn´t work when I use the numpad.

The silent installation mode is used for deployments to hundred or thousand machines with tools like SMS/SCCM, Tivoli, etc.

Example : FileZilla_3.1.5_win32-setup.exe /S /user=all

But currently when there is an installation error, the installation script displays a message box like "Unsupported operating system...", "Cannot install for all users...", etc.

The problem is that with this kind of deployment the user cannot even see the dialog box because the installation is made through the network in a "no-display" context, wether or not the user is logged on. So the installation process is stuck until the next reboot and the failure is not detected by the deployment tool.

I am not an NSIS expert but it seems that adding "/SD IDOK" or "/SD IDNO" to each "MessageBox" line in the installation script would fix the problem.

It would be nice also to always create an installation log file so that installation errors could be easily managed.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install FileZilla client 3.1.5 (fresh install)
2. Run FileZilla client
3. Go to menu Edit => "Clear private data..."
4. Click OK button
5. If no debugger is running, FileZilla quits immediately

Note: Bug has been noticed in version 3.1.4.1, but previous versions of FileZilla client might be affected as well.

There's a grammar blooper in the "Target file found" dialog. I found the line in the code that needs to be changed. I hope the information below is sufficient to fix it. The label is "Please chose an action." Please correct to "Please choose an action." (It's "choose", not "chose".

When you delete a directory from a FTP-server the remote window doesn't refresh and the deleted directory still remains on the directory-tree.

While attempting to download a file which already exists in the "local" directory, the info message stating the "file is already present" has 2 problems:

• text reports a %S instead of the filename
• under "local" file label there instead is the remote one and the other way round. This is misleading... even though everything works fine.

While uploading the text still reports a %s instead of the filename, while the local/remote files are correctly reported

Local operating system: Windows Xp SP2

Description: We have some text files named *.RAW in a server. When I open the directory where they are placed, Filezilla consider these files like directories. The icon corresponds to a directory. When I try to drag and drop a file (to get one of these files), I cannot do it. The log is the following:

Command: CWD file.RAW Response: 550 file.RAW: A parameter must be a directory. Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

If I make "double click" in one of these files (as I it was a directory) the response is the following:

With other ftp clients it works.

Furthermore, we have other servers with this type of files, and they work properly.

It is not possible to drag a site from one folder to another folder if two of the folders are not viewable (need to scroll) because while we drag a site to the list edge, the scrollbar doesn't scroll with it.

Try make two folders under My Sites root folder. Then make 10 or more sites in first folder. Try move a site from first folder to second folder. Don't collapse the folder, let it expanded.

If I open a txt file with spaces in it's name it will open a few blank tabs instead.

I have a problem with the newest release of Filezilla client 3.1.5.1.

When i try to upload a directory (fckeditor) to my webhost (one.com), it only uploads the files and NOT the directories... I now use an older version 3.1.4rc-1 and this version uploads the complete directorystucture...

I am able to use the rest of the application but just can't have saved sites. If there is any further information that you would like I'd be happy to update the incident.

This could be caused by the "." and ".." directories under linux.

I'm using version 3.1.2, which is the latest version available with Ubuntu 8.10.

I'm using the default skin of Ubuntu, and it's hard to use Filezilla because of the font color. There is almost no contrast, the font color is light beige, and the background is white. I haven't found anything in the options to change the skin of the font, just the skin of the icons.

Hi, When opening ftp on AIX servers that have LANG=is_IS the directory listing in filezilla gets messed up.

This is not a problem when sftp is used.

I attempted to transfer a 7 gig file. The transfer would stop at 4 gig and would not restart. Dowloaded the lastest version of Filzillam and the same problem occured. Researched problem and discovered I was hitting max file size on FAT32 drive. However, the latest version of Filzilla client for windows(downloaded today) hits the error, and then says the file tranferred successfully. This condition should be better recognised and posted as an error.

Every day I want to upload some files to FTP server and then rename them. It is a hard work when I have to rename many of files.

So I suggest that FileZilla will provide Custom Server-Side Commands feature.

i.e.: If there are 3 files(1.txt,2.txt.3.txt) will to be rename to (a.txt,b.txt,c.txt), then Filezilla can let me define a commmands-group as a menu to do this work.

In the FileZilla Client 3.1.6 code, src/interface/locale_initializer.cpp makes a call to setenv(), which unfortunately not every platform has (my example is HP-UX 11.11). To fix this in a somewhat kludgy way, I took the gitsetenv() routine from git's compat/setenv.c and put it in locale_initializer.cpp (I had to cast the malloc() call in the gitsetenv() function to (char *) as well). Whether there's a more elegant solution, I'll leave it up to you (e.g. you could test for setenv() in configure and #ifdef HAVE_SETENV or something, but you'll still need some code for your equivalent setenv() call of course).

HP-UX 11.X has an annoying habit of putting function or macro declarations of the same functions in more than one system header file and then documenting which header file to include in the man page, dependent on the compiler flags you use. Yes, it is barmy and, unfortunately, ntohs() is one of those functions.

"man ntohs" says that #include <netinet/in.h> should be used to declare the ntohs() function *unless* _XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED is defined, in which case #include <arpa/inet.h> is included instead. I've been compiling the FileZilla Client 3.1.6 with -D_XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED in HP-UX 11.X, so the #include <netinet/in.h> in src/engine/socket.cpp isn't good enough to declare ntohs(). Here's a fix I inserted just above the include in src/engine/socket.cpp (line 24 or so):

You may find a more elegant way to do this (e.g. if all systems have <arpa/inet.h>, you might not need the defined(hpux) bit).

When compiling FileZilla Client 3.1.6 in HP-UX 11.X, there are a fair number of fussy compiler warnings from HP's C++ compiler (plus a link failure that I've documented in a separate bug). I've attached the output from the build so that you can look through the warnings and decide if any of them need fixing (the trailing comma in an enum warning is an easy fix). The output is from a PA-RISC HP-UX 11.11 machine using HP's latest C++ compiler (A.03.85) and is after I've fixed any build issues mentioned in the recent bugs I filed for HP-UX 11.X.

A downloading FileZilla client crashes and loses the download queue on my friend's computer when I restart my computer which runs the FileZilla server application he is connected to. Last time the crash situation included an "Illegal operation" Windows error.

I've discovered a bug in the server timezone offset settings.

The following table show my test results when trying to use different timezone offsets in FileZilla server preferences (Server Administration - Advanced tab).

As seen from the above, when the offset is set to "0", the server time is shown as one hour behind, and using either "+1" or "+2" will both show the server time as one hour ahead...

This bug is present in FileZilla 3.1.6, but was also noticed in previous versions...!

Using Filezilla 3.2.0 (and also 3.1.6) Windows XP PRO SP1 on AMD Athalon

Connection is FTP on port 21

Filezilla was working fine on prior version. Upgraded to 3.1.6 in December 2008 and began having some crashes. Upgraded to 3.2.0 today (2008-01-07) and still have problems crashing.

Crash happens nearly every-time I try to download (backup) the Plugins folder for a WordPress Blog. I initiate the download by dragging plugins folder from remote filelist to local filelist. The folder that is being copied does not exist on the local computer prior to initiating the download on Filezilla.

The folder has only 153 files, 16 folders, about 2.5 MB.

Crashes with other folders as well but this is the folder I am working on right now, and it is the folder being copied when the attached logfile was created.

When Filezilla crashes, perhaps 50% to 75% of the download is complete. I get a Windows crash message with these details: AppName: filezilla.exe AppVer: 3.2.0.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll ModVer: 7.0.2600.1106 Offset: 00033de0

Filezilla USUALLY continues to run behind the Win-error box and sometimes it even completes the files in the queue before the Filezilla window closes.

Sometimes during this downloading, after the Win-error box opens, Filezilla will show a file-exists dialog indicating that a zero-length file already exists at the destination. Of course the file did not exist at the target location before the download because the target folder did not exist then and it was created by Filezilla.

The Default Remote Directory for a MVS server type worked in v3.1.6 but not in v3.2.0. In v3.1.6 a directory of the form 'test' was accepted and was used correctly. In v3.2.0, the same value returns message "Default remote path cannot be parsed. Make sure it is valid and is supported by the slected server type.". v3.2.0 will accept values of the form /'test' or \'test' but neither value is used or saved.

I installed FileZilla FTP client, started it, and an error message popped up:

Error loading xml file

Could not load "C:\Documents and Settings\Dženan Zukić\Application Data\FileZilla\filezilla.xml", make sure the file is valid. For this session, default settings will be used and any changes to the settings are not persistent.

After clicking OK, several more similar messages are displayed, and file window is shown. Some more messages may appear during usage, all referring to the same file.

I believe that reason is character "ć", which is not included in charset ISO 8859-1 (US-ASCII) which is default on my system.

Again when closing the application, similar message is displayed.

When I used fzdefaults.xml, I get 2 Group (My Sites and Predefined Sites). When I select a sites in the groupe "Predifined Sites" I get an error messages :

Could not load "", please make sure the file is valid and can be accessed. Any changes made in the site manager will be not saved.

Everything works, but if my last selection was a predifined site I get the error message at startup.

I work for a division of Honeywell International which operates and supports an IBM Systemz mainframe system running the z/VSE V4.2 Operating System. We are running the latest maintenance levels of all components there. I have been using FileZilla for several years to perform FTPS (FTP over implicit TLS/SSL) transfers from my workstation to/from the z/VSE host's SecureFTP server. Recently the Honeywell Global IT Security team which approves software for use within our environment approved FileZilla V3 for use. Previously I had been using V2.2.32 and based upon the new approval upgraded to V3.2.0.

Using V3.2.0 I can not successfully get past the TLS/SSL handshake when trying to connect to the z/VSE host. V2.2.32 still works fine. I am attaching the "Debug" logs from both V3.2.0 and V2.2.32.

i did use the latest filezilla 3.2.1 and it still crashes.

On FileZilla Client, open "Site Manager". On right side we have 4 tabs. The bugs/improvements below are related to the site manager dialog.

General Tab: Servertype --> should be "Server Type" Logontype --> should be "Logon Type" or "Login Type"

Anonymons is by default selected for Logontype, which is fine, but when I select Normal from the dropdown, the User and Password boxes still show 'anonymous' and ''. Upon selecting 'Normal', these two boxes should clear up. Everytime I create/add a new site, I have to delete these two boxes. They should automatically clear up.

When Servertype FTP is selected, the Port box could show 21 by default. Similarly when SFTP is selected, the port box can change to 22 automatically. I remember FileZilla 2 had this before.

Advanced Tab Servertype --> should be "Server Type"

For default remote directory, if I enter "/public_html" it works, but if I just enter "public_html" it does not work and shows a message saying the path could not be mapped. FileZilla 2 handled this automatically. Can we have it back?

The tab "Transfer settings" should be "Transfer Settings", i.e. in title case.

"Force showing hidden files" option should be also available in the site manager. There can be a checkbox for it just below the "Default Remote Directory" text box.

I just recently downloaded the most recent update. I downloaded the files and folders from my site; I couldn't see my folders on my local directory. I tried to download them again, but got the overwrite option window. I refreshed my directory and then saw my folders. This has never happened before.

After installing 3.2.1 I couldn´t edit my index.html file And no other files as well . After uninstalling and installing 3.2.0 everything works great again . See message enclosed Regards - great program !!! Benke

Using the latest release (3.2.1) on Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6 (Mac Pro, Intel Quad Core Xeon, 4GB RAM):

If an external drive was last used as the 'Local Site', and has since been ejected, and FileZilla closed, re-opening the application will immediately crash, and no access to the application will be gained until the same external drive is reconnected.

Normally, the application should revert to a default folder on the OS hard drive, but in the latest version, this does not seem to be the case.

Upon installation of update 3.2.1 the file associations with MS word and MS excel documents was lost. Pdf's are ok. When I try and open the doc's from the transfer window using the right click function (open) FileZilla gives an error saying the file could not be opened due to the associated program not being found. It goes on to say 'Please check your filetype associations'. The files are certainly there and can be opened normally from and explorer window. This only happened with the recent update.

Newer files are showing up with a last modified date of 2003 and 2004. Files ftpd sometime after 12/18/2008 and before 1/9/2009 are doing this. Although anything in 2009 is having this problem with the old date in the last modified date. Using FileZilla 3.2.1, also happened in last release. FTP Server is FTPshell 4.3 using sftp. I get the correct listing if I use Linux to do an ls -al on the directory.

Filezilla crashes on startup, crashreport attached.

concerned setting in filezilla.xml:

If the directory specified no longer exists (is renamed/moved etc.) filezilla crashes.

Filezilla 3.2.1

Attempts to do "View/Edit" on a remote file that happens to be a Microsoft Office file (e.g., Word .doc, Excel .xls) fail with the new version of Filezilla (3.2.1). They worked just fine in 3.2.0. The error message you see is:

The file "" cannot be opened: The associated program (WX_DDE #c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\Excel.exe" /e#Excel#system#[open("")]) could not be found.

Since I use this program to remotely edit Office files on outside computers, this is a blocker for me, but I have set the priority to "high".

Hi, as summary says it crashes during startup *if* it doesn't find last local directory anymore (i.e. if I change its name or I remove it *after* last FZ client termination.

In 3.2.0 when I opened a PHP file associated with PHP Editor both the editor and the file opened without a problem.

When I try to do the same after upgrading to 3.2.1 i get the following error.

Cannot edit file

The file 'phpfile.php' cannot be opened: The associated program (WX_DDE#"C:\Program Files\PHP Editor\PHPEditor.exe" "phpfile.php"#PHPEditor#Macros#[Open("phpfile.php")]) could not be found. Please check your filetype associations.

To fix this problem I went into the file associations and clicked OK. I tried again and the problem seems to be fixed.

I recently updated my intel Macbook pro. Filezilla now refuses to open and keeps getting an error. Can you please fix this because I love this FTP client and I need to use it for school but I can't if it won't run on my computer.

I recently upgraded to the latest version of FileZilla. I think it worked after upgrading but a day or two later, I cannot open it anymore. It comes up saying "The application Filezilla quit unexpectedly"...

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and the same issue occurs. The only time I got it to work was when I restarted my computer.

The only other thing is I also upgraded the software on my Mac recently... Could that have done anything?

I get the error message: Call-list.2009xls cannot be opened. The associated program(WX_DDE#"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\EXCEL.EXE"\e#Excel#systen#[open("Call_List_2009.xls")]) could not be found. Please check your file type associations.

Yikes! How do I get back to the last version? Can I delete this last update and go back to another version? Thank you for your help! Angie

I have 3 disk attached to my computer. In the old release I can press \.. until showme all disk of my computer. In this version I just go until the disk root of my local folder. Ex. I have a C, D and L Disk. My start local folder is in the C. So in this version when press \.. a just can go to C:\ in the last version when I pressed \.. I go to see C:\ D:\ or L:\ disk.

I saw some older tickets about this issue, but never with a (working) solution.

When I checked my local hdd after downloading a big folder with images, I noticed that directories are all over the place. I can't figure out if the messing up is consequent.

I'm using active mode, but the wizard tells me everythings fine. I'm also using a filefilter to exclude thumbnails. When I add the dir to the queue, everything seems fine, trouble start when processing the queue (wrong folders are immediately created, while NOT listed in the queue before).

I saw other users had this same problem on the PC....

I just downloaded 3.2.2 and now I get the error message: The file home.html cannot be opened. The associated program ('Applications/TextEdit.app' <"home.html") could not be found. Please check your file type associations.

I've never had a problem with earlier versions. Can I delete this last update and download an earlier version? I have a deadline of TODAY to complete my website and this is the only way I have of editing...I don't want to have to switch to another editor, I've been using Filezilla for years and this is the first time I've had a problem. By the way, I get the same message no matter what type of extension is on it. Yet the program is there, I have my files associated properly, and if I download have no problem opening them up.

Steps to reproduce:

• Connect to a server
• Right click a server file
• Select rename
• Click a folder in the divided-area above the file viewer

What happens: The text-area from the file rename is keep open when the folder is switched and remains active. What is expected: FileZilla should cancel the rename and hide the text-area when switching folders.

the dropdown box beside the quick connect button is displaying 2 of the same user.

list looks like user1@… user1@… other_user@… user3@…

it started when i changed the password for "user1@…" i retyped the user info in the text boxes and pushed connect and now the list shows both versions of the user.

the one connects with the new password and the other connects with the old password.

you should check if the user is already in that list and just update it.

The red/green activity indicator lights in the lower right corner of v3.2.2.1 don't activate when receiving or sending data. I've tested this w/ a regular FTP server and FTP over SSH. The lights remain dim regardless of whether I'm uploading or downloading data.

When using servertype 'MVS, OS/390, z/OS' and a 'default remote directory' (Site Manager/Advanced tab) that doesn't return any files, FileZilla says 'not connected to any server' and does not let file transfers (upload) take place. FileZilla client is 3.2.2.1.

I have to edit many files with same name that are on different folders. eg: /dev/web.config, /live/web.config, etc. The problem is that after completed editing the first file and uploading it and then editing the second file and saving it triggers two "file has changed" dialog boxes. and if saved, the first remote file is overwritten with the second file.

FileZilla client version: 3.2.2.1 System: Windows XP SP3 on Intel P4 3.0GHz

I'm using Dreamweaver as my default editor and when I select two or more files at the same time, the function doesn't work. No error or so, the download process just isn't starting.

1. enable synchronized browsing for a site
2. connect
3. navigate to any sub-folder
4. double click the local pane 'navigate up a level' icon
5. it crashes every time

If i sort the files and folders on the last modified column i get a random sorted list. version: 3.2.3-rc1

Steps to reproduce:

• Launch FileZilla client.
• Attempt to resize a column in the transfer queue pane.

This crash occurs on all tabs in the pane.

Installed new update and started filezilla client

Changed theme icons to classic and worked fine.

Exited program and restarted and OpenCrystal theme was chosen again.

I've tried a 5-6 other themes but they stick to whatever theme you've chosen BUT classic jumps to OpenCrystal

I had a custom editor setup in filezilla: "C:\Program Files\Programmer's Notepad\pn.exe" After upgrading to 3.2.3, it tells me:

The file 'xxx' cannot be opened: The associated program (C:\Program Files\Programmers) could not be found. Please check your filetype associations.

Looks like it's choking on something in the filename... maybe the apostrophe in the path.

The "Automatically remove transfers" option under the "successful transfers" tab doesn't work on Mac OS X.

The update dialog is cut off on the right side on Mac OS X. See attachment.

When attempting to change the permissions on a directory on the remote system I get the message "Another remote operation is already in progress, cannot change directory now."

This doesn't appear if I select the "recurse" option.

It seems to change the protection anyway.

To reproduce the issue,

Open remote server connection (FTP) Upload a file that has been changed locally (file size should be different). Note the file size shown in the dialog box that confirms overwrite. After uploading the changed file, make more changes to the same file locally, and initiate upload again. This time the overwrite window will show the ORIGINAL file size, not the new changed file size that got changed because u uploaded new file in step(2)

In the local window, if you select multiple files and right click then the "View/Edit" option is grayed out, In the remote window, if you select multiple files and right click where the View/Edit option is NOT grayed out, it produces system error sound, and the edit doesnt happen.
