The latest version of Filezilla clearly has an issue.
I've searched the tickets and there are numerous people reporting the same issue.
My company has an expired certificate. Filezilla will not connect.
I can connect with Dreamweaver, I can connect with other FTP programs just not with Filezilla.
There is a check box to trust the server and continue, but that box is greyed out.
Please investigate how Filezilla deals with expired certificates.
Whether or not my certificate is expired, I need to be able to access the server and while Filezilla is my favorite FTP client, I'll use WinSCP or another client if I have to (but I'd rather not).

The server's certificate needs to be renewed.
The certificate is expired. Expired certificates cannot be permanently trusted.
