Description (last modified by )
Hello.
Here is the scenario. In the remote directoy the file that I want to download is being builded (an sql backup) and the size displayed for Filezilla Client is X. then when I note in the SSH terminal that the dump has been finished, I proceed to download with FileZilla client, and the issue here is that Filezilla uses the size of the file detected the last time reviewed, and not the final size (then an incorrect file size is displayed in the progress of the file that is being downloaded).
thanks for your attention.

Summary: | incorrect size of file → incorrect size of file displayed at the download progress |
Did the file properly download, even though the file size was not correct? I guess that just the progress bar showed more than 100%, right?

I mean, the final downloaded file had the correct file size and correct content, that is, was not corrupted?

Hi. The final downloaded file was not corrupted, was ok. The issue is that the progress bar never passed the 100%, the 100% was displaying around 4 minutes more while the file was downloading.
I want to add more information about the scenario.
1) I have started a sql dump (on a remote sever via ssh). the sql size was around 1GB
2) Filezilla is opened and connected to the remote server just for navigate to the directory where the sql dump is being builded
3) in the directory of the sql dump Filezilla indicates that the dump have X size (I guess that is the size dected in that moment)
4) after a couple of minutes the dump has finished according the ssh terminal
5) in the Filezilla interface I select the file, and the download of the sql dump is started.
6) the progress bar reaches the 100% very soon and still is displaying the 100% for some minutes while the file is downloaded.

Replying to cigotete:
please avoid the information about the size of the sql dump at item 1 (in that moment the sqldump has been started, so the final size is reached at the item 4). sorry for the noise.

So, what's left here then? The 100% download was reached quite fast, but it never went to >100%, but instead stayed at 100% for several minutes while the file was still being downloaded?

No reply for more than 28 days.
I think that a better title could be "incorrect size of file displayed at the download progress"
