Description
Due to the fact that the file filezilla.xml is unencrypted I have twice been abducted stored password for my hosting using a malicious Java applets embedded on websites hosting images, which successfully decoded the passwords stored in it.

This is NOT duplicate !
Because 2935 is 5 years ago and problem is actual at newer version.
And ticket 5530 is about password encryption, not ALL file filezilla.xml.
Needs to encrypt all the file filezilla.xml, not only password!

Just because the ticket is old does not mean that it is invalid. It just means that the problem is not yet addressed.
This is a duplicate of #2935 or #5530.
