folders focus point

Description
Hi,
I'm continuous needing to sort my local and remote folders by "Modified time" descendent.
Well, since some weeks, when I change either local or remote folders and I go back to de initial folder, it's not focused at the beginning but in the middle of the folder. It's really annoying...

What do you mean by "in the middle of a folder"? If you enter a directory and then go to its parent again by using "..", the previous child will be selected; see #8344.
Or do you mean something else?
