Filezilla crashes on close

Hello,

Everytime I close FileZilla, it crashes.
I'm currently using the latest version avaible (3.6.0.2).

I think those crashes started around v3.5.

Are you able to run FileZilla in a debugger to get a stack trace?

I have to admit that I don't know how to proceed. I'm the administrator of my computer so I can install pretty much anything I need. Could you please tell me how to run FileZilla in a debugger? Which debugger should I get ?

For now, it is enough to know that latest FileZilla does not fix the problem for you. The task regarding debugging FileZilla still should be done, but again, I am still not a Windows developer.

Please rename the %APPDATA%\FileZilla directory (do not delete, we might need the files later). Does FileZilla still crash?

If it no longer crashes: I would need the files for analysis
If it still crashes: Delete the new %APPDATA%\FileZilla directory and rename the old one back.

Unfortunately, it's still crashing.

I have the same problem.
I found that renaming the file crshhndl.dll FileZilla stop crashing on exit.
For me the file crshhndl.dll is on %ProgramFiles%\TortoiseGit\bin
but some times is on TortoiseSvn

FileZilla Client Version: 3.7.3
Operating system: Windows XP SP3

Can't help you anymore on this subject. I got a new computer with Windows 7, it doesn't crash anymore.

Windows XP is no longer supported.

Huge number of changes since ticket was created, please reopen ticket if issue still in latest version of FileZilla.
