I Open Site Manager and click Cancel
*@*:*$ filezilla
The program 'filezilla' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 46563 error_code 3 request_code 158 minor_code 3)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I too am having this problem. However, I noticed that I can use quickconnect and all will be fine. It is the site manager that causing the crashes. I even went so far as to "apt-get remove" filezilla and install from a fresh build. No change. here is the out put of my error, the serial is slightly different than Duncon's.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Site Manager is basically useless. QuickConnect works for me, as it does for bowie76230. But even attempting to connect to an existing site using File Manager results in FileZilla crashing.
This is a serious problem. Needs to be fixed, pronto.

FileZilla 3.5.3 shipped with Kubuntu 12.04 LTS works for me.
Hi,
can you please run filezilla from console and post the output here?
Regards,
Simon
