Local server destination problem

Description
May I respectfully submit a possible bug?
Although you can navigate to a (Windows)
server\share location, when you transfewr from the
remote server to the local destination the files are
saved in the local drive. It is asthough
Boston\Share
becomes c:\Boston\Share
I installed 2.2.9 over 2.2.8 and so deleted/uninstalled
everything and tried again. No joy.
I'm not very sure but I think that this has worked fine in
the past.

Whoops...... a typo in the "network path" I included in my
previous comment:
INCORRECT:

CORRECT:

I can confirm this behavior, in versions v2.2.9 - v2.2.10.
When I paste a network path (
Server\Share\Folder1\Folder2
\...) into the "Local Site" field, I can correctly access files in
the "Local Treeview" pane. However, when I try to download
files from the FTP site to that same "local" network folder, it
creates a folder on the C-drive that mimics the network share
path.
For example, when I download a file ("test.txt") from the FTP
site to the following network share:
It creates and then downloads the file into the following
hierarchy of directories:
When the transfer is complete, the complete path of the
downloaded file is:
