Description

May I respectfully submit a possible bug?

Although you can navigate to a (Windows)

server\share location, when you transfewr from the
remote server to the local destination the files are
saved in the local drive. It is asthough
Boston\Share
becomes c:\Boston\Share

I installed 2.2.9 over 2.2.8 and so deleted/uninstalled
everything and tried again. No joy.

I'm not very sure but I think that this has worked fine in
the past.

best. Fantastic Application.

[CURRENT VERSION] v2.2.10

I can confirm this behavior, in versions v2.2.9 - v2.2.10.
When I paste a network path (
Server\Share\Folder1\Folder2
\...) into the "Local Site" field, I can correctly access files in
the "Local Treeview" pane. However, when I try to download
files from the FTP site to that same "local" network folder, it
creates a folder on the C-drive that mimics the network share
path.

For example, when I download a file ("test.txt") from the FTP
site to the following network share:

ABCCorp\Users\tekboy\Desktop\

It creates and then downloads the file into the following
hierarchy of directories:

C:\ABCCorp\Users\ehrenzweig\Desktop\

When the transfer is complete, the complete path of the
downloaded file is:

C:\ABCCorp\Users\ehrenzweig\Desktop\test.txt

Whoops...... a typo in the "network path" I included in my
previous comment:

INCORRECT:
ABCCorp\Users\tekboy\Desktop\
CORRECT:
ABCCorp\Users\ehrenzweig\Desktop\

Fixed in most recent FZ3 beta.
