Fail to copy filename containing ':' character from Solaris 10 into Windows XP

Description

Hi,

I am trying to download from Solaris 10 into Windows XP a file containing ':' character. The complete filename is following:
UAS_EDR901-06-09:210216.tar.gz

Filezilla shows it downloads the file, but in Windows I get the filename truncated to "UAS_EDR901-06-09" with 0 size.

Thanks,
Januar

I haven't try it with other OS combination, though.

Which version of FileZilla are you using? Recent versions should have replaced the colon with an underscore.

I was thinking same thing. However upgrading to version 3.3.2 also doesn't help.

Is the "Enable invalid character filtering" option enabled in the settings dialog?

Please describe in detail what actions you perform to start the transfer.

I didn't change any setting. I've checked and found that that parameter remains checked.

I think I've got how to reproduce it.

There are 2 ways to initiate transfer:

  1. drag and drop
  2. double click.

and the problem exists on 2nd way.

Resolution: fixed

  1. double click.

That's the missing piece of the puzzle.

Thanks for reporting, will be fixed in the next version of FileZilla.
