Description

Earlier this week I download Filezilla FTP client for windows from a link on your site. After installing Windows crashed and would not reboot. I had to repeair and set the system to a restore point. I downloaded the software again and had the same issue. I have an Acer 5538 with Windows 7 with windows 7 home premium which came installed. I love this software, do you have a fix?

There is something fundamentally wrong with your system.

A normal program just cannot crash a modern operation system unless the system itself is compromised.

Any number of things could be wrong, but it is definitely not FileZilla that is crashing your system. At most FileZilla triggers an already existing fault condition on your system.

With all due respect, I have seen bad BVA code crash modern operating systems. I just checked the harddisk, processor, and memory and all is without error. The problem may well be on my PC, but it is more likely a conflict with your software and software on my notebook. The hardware is fine and the system always automatically restores to the point just prior to the download and install of filezilla.
