#5180 closed Bug report (outdated)

Large file upload generates damaged file

Reported by: Florian Owned by:
Priority: normal Component: FileZilla Client
Keywords: upload damaged file Cc:
Component version: Operating system type: Windows
Operating system version: Windows7 64-bit

Description

Uploading a 16GB file to my FTP in the local LAN (vsftpd on debian stable) ends up with a different file size than the original (tried twice, once smaller and once larger than the original) as a consequence the MD5 is different too and the file unusable.

Are you accidentally transferring it as ASCII file?

Settings are on default, that is automatically choose file type.
I doubt 7z would be identified as ASCII :-)

Can you please attach a complete log of an incorrect upload, with debug level set to 3 in the settings dialog of FileZilla?
