#5041 closed Feature request (fixed)

Quick filters for file lists

Reported by: Miguel Owned by:

Operating system version: WINDOWS 7

Description (last modified by Tim Kosse)

Instead of the existing functionality in which you can find some types of files, it would be useful the creation of a file filter.

It could be for example a TEXT FIELD and if you write OE*, it directly filter those files which stars with OE.

I second this request. I logged in just to request it myself. I work with lots of log files that have particular filename formats and I frequently go to filters to edit existing filters. This would be a huge boost to my productivity.

It would be nice to have such an option immediately available in the toolbar (“Werkzeugleiste”)
A bit as the F4 shortcut in htop tool utility

Existing search ability brings results in another restricted window with only one pane. In this pane, right click only proposes 4 options instead of 11, and there is no possible drag'n'drop.

Why duplicate lists display and prevent using usual drag'n'drop and other filezilla facilities and tools ?

Request is to enable this search in usual display. As "Display > Filters" do... but quickly.
