Description
when i was uploading an large pack of files to byethost with my new bt home hub 2 and then it disconnect the internet...
i wonder if this software cause the problem or its my bt home hub?

Definitely your bt home hub. There's nothing special about how FileZilla accesses the internet, it just uses plain old TCP like it is used by billions of people every day.
Most likely your device is violating the end-to-end principle the internet is based upon and does some odd traffic inspection.
