Description

I upgraded to 3.2.7.1 ver this morning. Since upgrade filezilla will not complete file transfer of ascii file from unix hp-ux server to company file server. It always stops at 8.1%, 196,608 bytes. Next it says file exists and do I want to overwrite. Respond Yes, and it continues the same loop. If I say no, it does not complete the transfer. Have not had any problems with earlier versions of software. Please advise as I need to transfer files from unix server to file server frequently. I am running a windows XP client. Thanks for your help

Would be helpful to know which version you used before.

Please post a complete and unmodified log of the transfer attempt.

Sorry, can't be sure - probably either 3.2.5 or 3.2.1 - since I still have the downloaded executables for those two. I didn't notice before upgrading - and assume there's no other way to tell.

Attached is log from today - when I'm on site. File transfer successful today from Denver unix server to New Jersey file server. On Fri, when I opened problem ticket, I was connected to company network via VPN as I was working remotely. I conclude filezilla - this version - does not function correctly when user is connected remotely to servers via VPN.

The log does not show anything unusual.

Please attach a log that shows the problem.

Am working remotely today - connected to company network via VPN. Tested transferring ascii file from unix server located in Denver to file server located in New Jersey - same file transfer as last week that failed. Transfer successful today - whatever the problem was seems to have resolved itself. You can close the case.
