Description
I think it would be better to count the number of files to download before starting the download process itself. When there are a lot of files to download the queued files number is always uncertain.

That's right but you never know how many files have left to download in real, or how many have already been downloaded.

Left to download are those in still queue. Already completed are the ones in the completed tab. The total number of files, queued and completed, is simple math you can do in your head.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
You can always add files to queue and start processing the queue manually if you want to know the total size beforehand.
