Component version: | Operating system type: | Windows | |
Operating system version: | Vista SP1 (32-bit) |
Description
I'm uploading a bunch of JPG-Images, Compressed and resized properly by IrfanView. As the bunch (about 50 pictures) is uploaded, my Gallery-Programm often gives Errormessages, because the content of the pictures is scrambled. This happens just sometimes, about 5-10% of the Pictures. Usually two parts of the picture are switched.
(Examplepictures in Attachment)
As I reupload the Pictures, everything ist fine...

Are you accidentally transferring the files with ASCII data type? See http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Data_Type

Nope.
Anyways, as only some of the transferred Images (about 5%-0%) are corrupted, there must be some wierd reason...

Broken routers and/or firewalls can destroy your files. Please run the network configuration wizard, make sure the test at the end succeeds. As long as it fails, correct transfers cannot be guaranteed.

Wizard-Test says this here:
Connecting to probe.filezilla-project.org Response: 220 FZ router and firewall tester ready USER FileZilla Response: 331 Give any password. PASS 3.2.2.1 Response: 230 logged on. Checking for correct external IP address Retrieving external IP address from http://ip.filezilla-project.org/ip.php Checking for correct external IP address IP ***.***.***.*** cbi-bhj-bec-bf Response: 200 OK PREP 50154 Response: 200 Using port 50154, data token 1775383544 PORT 218,179,142,15,195,234 Response: 200 PORT command successful LIST Response: 150 opening data connection Response: 503 Failure of data connection. Server sent unexpected reply. Connection closed
At first, External IP was broken, but I fixed it... maybe this will already solve the problem, but I'm notsure why the last Error happend...
BTW: I didn't attach the Logfile yet because it is too big. If you tell me, which part is important, I can cut it out....

Clear log. Connect and upload the file. If file is broken attach the log of that attempt. Otherwise start over and retry until it fails.
Also, please attach the original image to the corrupted one also attached to this ticket.
