Two files with the same name (in different directories) are not the same file

Hi:

I use filezilla client to edit files of some popular CMSs.
Let´s supose i want to download index.php for editing.
OK, there is not problem.

Now, without closing index.php I want to edit directory/index.php. In this moment Filezilla says to me that "The selected file is already being edited".
And this is not true and causes some confusion.
It would be great if FileZilla distinguish the two files.
