TLS error after most recent update

Description

my server is running ubuntu 7.10 server with proftpd. i use filezilla to connect to it using explicit TLS. it was all working fine until i updated to the most recent version of filezilla (3.1.0.1). now i am getting an error

"Could not read from transfer socket: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted"

followed by

"Failed to retrieve directory listing"

This is caused by a bug in your server, it doesn't perform an orderly TLS shutdown like its supposed to do. See the security advisory on ​http://filezilla-project.org/
