SFTP transfer - Computer freezes

Description
When I start the download of a file via SFTP my whole computer freezes and the only thing I can do is a hardware reset. Connecting to the server and getting the file list worked fine.
I'm using Vista 64 Home Premium and the newest release of FileZilla 3.0.11.

If the whole system freezes, it is definitely a problem with the system. Uninstall all firewalls, security solutions, non-essential drivers. Upgrade all your other drivers, check your RAM and secondary storage for errors.
