Description
I think the "There is a new version available" alerts at program launch are great. But I rarely install the update right then, because I've always opened FileZilla for an immediate need. I would like to see another button in this alert screen that would give me the option "Install after current session" or similar wording. Clicking this would open FileZilla normally, but would launch the update process when the application is closed (and would not restart FileZilla when the update is finished installing).

This new feature request it's pretty old... so not sure if it makes sense to add something here, but I think the update application when you open it is annoying. If you update it, you have to wait until the download stops and the update is installed.
I think a background download makes more sense and when you close the application a dialog box could ask if you want to install the update right then or at next start.
I have a similar complaint. I agree that one would tend to open Filezilla for immediate usage. How i would approach this problem is to make the download window non-modal. i.e. it should be able to download in the background, thus allow the main filezilla window to be usable.
