Description

Note: This is one of a few requests currently posted in the forum (http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=14155#14155).

It would be nice if there were an option for the Site Manager to appear on startup (or not, as the user prefers).

would be nice to see this feature again. (filezilla 2 already had this feature)

Yes, I agree. I know this addition may seem trivial, but I found it very
comforting, and would love to see it return. In addition, I would like the
return of the "Default site".

With all of this, I can load FileZilla, Site Manger pops up with my
default site, I hit ENTER on my keyboard, and *bam* connected.

@kalebgrace:
FileZilla 3 has an "R" button/icon in the toolbar which makes it reconnect to the last site connected to. Furthermore, request "[ 799643 ] FZ doesn't save last used item in site manager" is about having the Site Manager to save the last used site. To my understanding, this is what you are looking for.

@ci-dev:
Thanks for the help, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I am requesting the return of the following FileZilla 2 features (2.2.32 specifically):
• "Open Sitemanager each time FileZilla starts" (in FileZilla Options > Interface settings > Miscellaneous), and
• "Default site" (in Site Manager window > Site details).

"Default site" does not connect you to the last used site. Rather, it connects you to one particular site by default, regardless of what you last used.

@kalebgrace:
This RFE is only about the Site Manager automatically popping up at startup. If you like to have the Default Site feature back, please file a new RFE. Thanks.

I agree this would be a very welcome enhancement to FileZilla 3!

In Filezilla 2 I used the keyboard only to open sites from the site Manager. Now I must use the touch pad of my laptop, which I hate...

Would be nice to have this feature again, so that Filezilla3 feels like the classic Filezilla I'm so fond of...

Will be implemented in 3.0.10 using the -s commandline option.
