Description
I need the ability to choose which connection to use for
each site.
example:
always use LAN connection for site A
always use DIAL-UP connection for site B
It would also be nice to have client auto-dial for sites
that are only accessable via dial up internet connections.

I agree with ci-dev. It's task of the OS to choose the right connection. Likewise, it's the OS which should dial if some program requests access to an outside address.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
Isn't this something what the operating system is responsible for?
The routing tables on your system should be set the way that access to local networks are made though the network card, while non-local addresses should be made by dial-up? Additionally, shouldn't the OS automatically dial the ISP (dial-up) in case of non-local network access and terminate the connection if it is idle?
