should keep settings in "View" menu

Description
Hello,
it should be possible to save view Settings.
In version 2.1.5, disabling "View->Quick Connect Bar"
and "View->Message Log" does disable these items, but
only for the current program session. Exiting and restarting
the app resets the view to defaults again which re-enables
the above items.
