Description
Three related suggestions, from my experience of using
FZ to do directory synchronisation tasks...
- Skip-filter. Load up a queue, and filter it so that
files that would be Skipped are subtracted from the
queue leaving a list of files that should be
transferred. (Would provide an opportunity to
prioritise the order of files to be transferred, for
instance)
- Dryrun. As above, but for other File Overwrite
settings. Ability to find out in advance of transfer
what would be transferred.
- Transfer Logfile. Would be handy to be able to
generate a logfile of a transfer session. (Indeed,
generate a named file, or append to existing file)
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
I too would agree with a skip filter. That way I can drag a whole folder in and it could remove files/folders that match the pattern. For instance, folders titled .svn. That could save me a ton of time.
