Slow Upload on File Overwrite

Description
Uploading a 1 MB image:
- First time, before image exists on Server - 4 seconds
Then, uploading the same image:
- Using the Overwrite option - 53 seconds
- Using the Rename option - 4 seconds
- Deleting image file on Server, then uploading it again - 53 seconds

There's something wrong with the server. Please contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance.
The only difference between Overwrite and Rename in FileZilla is the filename sent to the server, everything else is the same.
