3.24.1 Directory Retreival Times Out

Unable to connect on most tries after upgrading to 3.24.1

"Directory retrieval" times out on most connection attempts.

On a couple of connects that were successful, subsequent changing directory resulted in similar problems.

Reverting to 3.24.0 removed the problem.

fwiw, registration for Filezilla forum is broken. No confirmation emails (including spam folder)

After at least an hour's search on the forum site it finally revealed the information;

"Contact Administrator has been disabled"

If you can receive the trac confirmation email then you can also receive the forum confirmation email. Both are sent from the very same server.

There's absolutely no difference between 3.24.0 and 3.24.1 wrt. FTP over TLS. The code, the applicable libraries and the used compilers haven't changed.

Make sure there is no firewall or virus scanner (partially) blocking FileZilla just because it's version number has changed.

It may also be a server-side issue that merely coincided in time with changing FileZilla version.
