Increase simultaneous transfers

Hi mate,

I was hoping we could increase the simultaneous transfers up to 50 transfers or at least more than the 10 limit?

There is no legitimate use case for more than 10 simultaneous transfers.

All situations that appear to benefit from more transfers are merely symptoms of some other problem:

  • Congestion. More transfers just increase overhead and steal from other users. Fixed by laying bigger pipes.
  • Throttling. Fixed by switching to a non-throttling ISP that embraces net neutrality.
  • Bad server configuration. Fixed by configuring the server properly.
