Large files continue to download after reaching 100%

Description
Large files (>about 200Mb) get to 100% download and then after a short time commence downloading again. The resultant downloaded file is exactly twice the size of the original file. This does not seem to happen with smaller files and happens with transfer settings at both Auto and Binary. I am using Version 3.10.3

Which FTP server software (product and version) is the server running? This is a known bug in some versions of IIS, which claim to support resume yet actually ignore the resume offset.
If it's IIS, contact your server administrator or server hosting provider for assistance to have the server fixed.
