Filezilla reports successful download, but file disappears

Description
Hello,
After upgrading to the latest version of Filezilla, 3.10.0, it no longer allows me to download or edit files on servers.
The status claims success:
Status: File transfer successful, transferred 1,017 bytes in 1 second
This behavior happens regardless of how I download the file (right click download, drag & drop, right click and "edit")
When I drag and drop, it appears in the target folder briefly, but disappears.

Some third-party program must be deleting the files.
