the 3.23.0 upgrade broke the use of linux icon theme. also the used icons on the toolbar are stretched and blurry. was working fine with 3.22

3.23.0 was working fine with sftp logon with key to the same server. now 3.23.0.1 fails, making it unusable.

Unable to connect on most tries after upgrading to 3.24.1

"Directory retrieval" times out on most connection attempts.

On a couple of connects that were successful, subsequent changing directory resulted in similar problems.

Reverting to 3.24.0 removed the problem.
