command + A to select all no longer working in Mac FileZilla Client in the latest version. Previous versions are working fine.

Latest version of Filezilla (3.2) when trying to select multiple directrories in remote site window only last click item is highlighted. In previous version, I could click first and shift-click last and all in between would be highlighted for download.

Since a couple of versions of filezilla it is not possible to select files and directories simply by pulling an area around them.

The mouse pointer shows very erratic behavior when doing so (It jumps immediately to another monitor).

The behavior of the mouse by doing exactly the same on the local site is normal like expected.

When left mouse-click and dragging a marquee around multiple files the marquee "jumps" to the right cutting off the view of the file names on the left.

Sended files over a FTP SSL connection with a SOCKS proxy are corrupted.

The connection and the SSL/TLS negotiation are ok. The upload to the server seems to be ok in the logs but actually the sended files are corrupted. Tested with several SOCKS proxies. No such issue without proxy or with an external SOCKS client (tested with Hummingbird). Seems also to be ok when only downloading (retrieving) files from the FTPS server.

When I use FileZilla to transmit large .txt files, it sometimes sends them over and over again until I catch it. Obviously this causes problems in my workflow and that might be the case for other people too.

I have a local (inside LAN) FTP server run by Bitvise SSH client. Trying to open it, FZ seems to always request MLSD even though the server doesn't support it. What's weird, FZ doesn't request neither SYST nor FEAT command so it couldn't even know what the server can.

Last use of Filezilla mid July. Now using it again I was offered an update. I confirmed, update was done, but then all my 5 server addresses stored in the old version had gone. Is there a possibility to get them back? Actual version is 3.9.0.5, Win 7 ultimate.

The latest update is having issues connecting to my web host server...I am not the only one having this issue!!! Please can you fix this as soon as possible while I continue using the previous version.

I keep getting disconnected from my server right after I upload something. Even after a few seconds. I've talked to my hosting company and they have raised the inactivity time limit to 15 minutes and I still get disconnected from the server after just a few seconds. So everytime I upload something I have to reconnect to upload something else. The host company told me this is a FileZilla issue and I have to ask you for help and not them. I've included a sample of the error log from the last time I got disconnetced below. Please let me know if there is somethign I can do to stay connected to the server after I upload something. When you edit the permission on a file on the server the file permission doesn't change in the list view.

We have to refresh the view.

if you save a new server to the manager with (3.11.0.1) all passwords of all saved servers will be broken! This is crtitial decidedly not just for me.

I am using Filezilla for sending some files from my pc to MVS system. My pc file is bigger than my mvs file and I am using SITE TRUNCATE command for truncating rows. But this command is not working with filezilla.

Filezilla show me the wrong Server-Time at my server.

So, i changed it in the "Server-Manager" -> Tab "More" -> Timezone.

But, when i change the hours and i check the server-time, i edit the minutes and not the hours. When i change the minutes, i see no changes.

German: Auf meinem Server werden die Zeiten falsch angezeigt. Wenn ich z.B. um 20Uhr eine Datei hoch lade, steht auf meinem Server 21Uhr.

Ich bin dann in den Server-Manager -> Erweitert -> Zeitzonenversetzung gegangen und wollte dort die 1 Stunde ausgleichen, doch wenn ich die Stunden ausgleiche, dann ändern sich die Minuten. Z.B. stelle ich +10 Stunden ein, dann habe sich auf dem Server die Zeiten um 10 Minuten geändert und nicht um Stunden.

Wenn ich es bei Minuten mache, dann ändert sich scheinbar nichts auf dem Server.

Ich hoffe, ihr habt mich verstanden.

My problem is exactly as described in Bug Report 12199, but I could not find an answer to it. When connecting to the server the certificate shows that it is not trusted and the buttons to override that and force trust are greyed out. If I use OK and move on it does connect. I have had my ISP check that the certificate is correct, and it is. Sadly it cost me a lot of money to do that. See attachments. I am using the latest Filezilla (it automatically updates, so that is always the case). This happens on both my machines which are Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and Windows 10 Home 21H2.

When connecting to 1 ftp server I receive an error after it logs me in that it can not retreive the directory listing. See Attached. I am currently running 3.2.4.1

It only occurs on my WAN. On my cable modem at home, it connects and transfers with no error. I spoke with our network data center and they are showing no "backtalk" from the firewall or the remote server. This has always worked until I loaded your software update about a week ago (version before this one). When I use my MAC to connect, It has no problems. No problems with DOS or Windows explorer.

This probably doesn't happen very often to anyone, but when I right clicked a file to delete it, while the right click menu was still up, the server disconnected. When I chose to delete the file, it tried to send DELE (or whatever the command is) to the server that isn't connected anymore without trying to reconnect. This just made the DELE command hang until I had to cancel the operation manually.

It's a small bug but it probably is an easy fix.

The top folder pane is nearly unusable on Mac OS Catalina. When trying to navigate it shows empty folders on top in the tree view. Responses to clicking folders are erratic.

The only way to navigate now is to use the lower files/folders tree view.

I've discovered a bug in the server timezone offset settings.

As seen from the above, when the offset is set to "0", the server time is shown as one hour behind, and using either "+1" or "+2" will both show the server time as one hour ahead...

This bug is present in FileZilla 3.1.6, but was also noticed in previous versions...!

When reconnecting, the server timezone configuration from last connection is not taken into account.

I'm able to send files to and retrieve files from an IBM (now Toshiba) 4690 OS server quite successfully. But now and then, the server (or intermediate network hardware?) goes into a state where it will only allow some data to be retrieved from the server before the connection is closed. FileZilla tries over and over again but it doesn't get very far before it logs that the connection is closed.

When this happens, I'm able to use SecureNetTerm to retrieve the same file from the same server with no problem! And if I then try to use FileZilla ... it still has problems. I wonder what SecureNetTerm is doing differently from FileZilla?

When copying several subfolders, filezilla always sows the content of these folders for a moment.

After having shown the last subfolder, one again sees the "beginning-folder" at the top (all this on on the server-side).

But the address-bar for the server still displays the name of the subfolder the last files were copied from.

This is a bit confusing.

(Opening another folder finally corrects the path displayed.)

Version 3.10.x functions properly. Version 3.11.x does not function properly.

After login into a server I have to change the internal server by writing for example metusalix/tmp into the "Remote Site:" drop down list. This is equal to the ftp command "cwd metusalix/tmp".

But FileZilla is throwing away the second / and so the command fails. This is what Filezilla is writing into the log when I'm typing "metusalix/" into the "Remote Site:" drop down list and hitting enter:

After i installed the 3.10 version all my passwords was base64 encoded. Now i can't connect to any server in the list. Passwords are longer than before.

I downgraded to 3.9.0.6 but i always get the login error. How can i retrieve my passwords? I'm trying with base64 decoder online. But it doesn't work. If i re-set passwords manually it works. The problem is that i don't have all my old password's clients. Anyone can help me?

Very reproducible, however selecting a Unix server type is an adequate work-around if you don't want to change file/dir/folder attributes.

• Remote root folder should be a back slash.
• DOS remote folder shows forward slashes then ends with a back slash, but DOS only uses '\' back slashes.
• Opening sub folders creates a new branch from the root folder with a longer path name, rather than a new branch from the parent folder with the subfolder name.

When in a directory on the server side, highlighting a file and choosing "Delete" from the dropdown menu, the confirmation dialog box does not place focus on the default button "Yes".

Dragging a new file into the upload queue sometimes causes the following errror:

I've created site specific bookmarks and I can save the Directory Comparison flag for each bookmark just fine, I select it and it saves, this however, has no effect. When I click on the bookmark to load it (like expanding Bookmarks menu and clicking on the bookmark once connected to the site) the dir comparison flag has no effect as the setting is not checked and I have to manually check it again. Each time the application is launched a line is appended to filezilla.xml with the following text <Setting name="Language Code" />

The line is appended to the end of the file not inside the <Settings> tag.

When setting remote file attributes via the GUI, the client changes the permission set.

E.g. when setting the set-group-ID-on-execution bit, I enter "2777" in the mask of "Change file attributes" ("Dateiattribute ändern" in the german version). When applied, the client sends following FTP commands:

Which is just plain wrong: It should execute "SITE CHMOD 2777 /public_html/tmp" instead.

When setting a directory's sticky bit, I think the wrong command is sent to the server.

Reproduce steps:

Right-click a directory on the remote site, choose "File attributes...", enter 1777 as the numeric value, click OK. The remote site in my case is some Linux box (I don't have more details here, I'm sorry).

Note the command on the first line in the message log, it states: "SITE CHMOD 49777 /public/sites/www.someserver.nl/aaa", while I think it should be "SITE CHMOD 1777 /public/sites/www.someserver.nl/aaa".

According to your wiki, ​https://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Date_and_Time_formatting, the %P is supposed to be am or pm lowercase.

This does not work. It returns only P instead. Not even A for am, just P for everything. Like it stripped off the percent sign and didn't parse the tag at all.

I can confirm that %p works, which is capital AM and PM. Unfortunately, I think the time looks better with lowercase am and pm.

The Behaviour option: Do not save passwords is not persistent between sessions of FileZilla.

Settings > Interface > Behaviour > Do not save passwords

When checking the box, the setting is not saved at the next run time.

This bug was found on two Windows machines running both XP and 7.

Sometimes (often) when you exit, quickly and maybe during transfers, the settings are lost and the site manager also.

Latest build.

Running 3.3.2-rc2, if I make a change to the Settings (i.e. change the Theme), the change does not come in to affect until I restart FileZilla. If I make a change hit 'OK' and go back in to settings, the old value still shows.

Settings checkbox for "Display momentary transfer speed..." indicates opposite of its value.

In Settings, under Interface, in the box headed "Transfer Queue," the checkbox for "Display momentary transfer speed instead of average speed" actually toggles the opposite of what it states (ie, it shows momentary speed when unchecked, and average speed when it is checked).

This is a legacy bug that has been around for quite some time. This bug does not affect functionality, so marked as low priority.

Hi, there is propably a bug in the import function. I noticed a few weeks ago in the .9 version that importing the ftp sites does not work if you import the settings right after it and then close the programm and reopen it. I thought i did somehthing wrong, but now i just installed version .10 and the same happend again.

The setting window got stripped to full screen width and I cannot resize it anymore. I have a shortcut on my desktop to a work VPN. It is not connected, and the local file view freezes before listing the shortcut file. I tested this and am pretty sure zilla is stopping to check the shortcut or something.

I currently have the problem, that I'm unable to get Filezilla to show dot files. I'm unable to show my .htaccess files on my file system. When I use the Windows file explorer. The dot files are shown.

I don't have any file filter enabled and I toggled the "server > show hidden files" but this is also not working for the windows file system.

Filezilla is showing the transfer notification that says: "Transfers finished. All files have been successfully transferred" even though I pressed Canceled.

Step to reproduce:

1. Connect to an FTP server
2. Download a file from the server
3. Drag the file from the server to the client again, but when asked if the file should be replaced, cancel

Filezilla will still show the successful file transfer notification. It shouldn't since no file has been transferred.

I'm using version 3.3.1 which comes with Ubuntu Lucid but I downloaded the latest version (3.3.2.1) from the website and the same thing happens.

FileZilla Client sends a TLSv1.2 (RFC 5246) ClientHello. TLSv1.2 requires servers to accept a Signature Algorithms extension on a ClientHello message, and gives the client the option to omit it if it desires the default (usually SHA1/RSA--see the RFC). FileZilla (using GnuTLS) is sending only one Signature Algorithms extension value--SHA512/RSA (6/1). This will cause a TLSV1.2 aware server to reject the ClientHello if it does not posses a SHA512/RSA signed certificate. Originally I thought this was a GnuTLS problem, so I sent this e-mail to them:

"Hello, I have been working on the implementation of the TLS 1.2 protocol. TLS 1.2 requires servers to handle the Signature Algorithms extension to the ClientHello handshake message. My reading of RFC 5246 (7.4.1.4.1.) indicates that if client presents the extension (it can be omitted) it should include all hash/signature algorithm pairs the client is willing to process. While running the latest version of FileZilla, which uses GnuTLS 2.10.4, the only proposed Signature Algorithm is {SHA512,RSA}. If I stick with the RFC, the handshake will fail, as my {SHA1,RSA} signed certificate is not in the list. I’m not saying Microsoft is always right (in this case I think they are), but IE8/Win7 sends 7 Signature Algorithms in the extension: {SHA256,RSA},{SHA384,RSA},{SHA1,RSA},{SHA256,ECDSA},{SHA384,ECDSA},{SHA1,ECDSA},{SHA1,DSA}."

The response I received from the GnuTLS developers was this:

"Hello, This is a configuration issue. Filezilla for some reason unknown to me only enables 256-bit ciphersuites and signature algorithms. If you use gnutls-cli with your server you'll see that gnutls sends all options."

FileZilla Version 3.0.11.1 (and before) have a little bug in the use of simultaneous connections. We're tested FileZilla with 2 simultaneous connections but he really uses 3 simultaneous connections (one too much).

Same if you use 3 simultaneous connections, FileZilla try to use 4 simultaneous connections. If your server doesn't allow more than 3 simultaneous connections you get an error.

Would be nice, if anyone could look for this and fix it.

The Site FTP list get out of the monitor in my secondary monitor, this happens because the resolution is lower than the primary monitor.

If I move the window to the primary, the list will show just fine.

I consider this a bug, but you may consider it a 'feature request'. Here is the break down of what happens.

I have many many sites saved in the Site Manage, when I click the down arrow on the Site Manage icon, I have a list so long that I can't see any of the sites past 't' in the list.

There is an arrow on the top of the list, but not on on the bottom to scroll down the list.

For sites below 't' I have to go into the site manager and click connect.

Not a huge deal, but I would LOVE to see a version update that included this feature/bug fix. As it would make my life a tad bit easier.

When using the site manager to set a site-specific "Limit the number of simultaneous connections" option, the option checked/unchecked and the number of connections I set state are not saved (are ignored, in fact), regardless of the user hitting OK or "Connect" after doing the site setup.

If you have a large number of sites you can resize the window of the Site Manager, but the problem is that Filezilla does not remember that I've resized the Site Manager.

So each time I open the Site Manager i need to resize the window to see all my connections / folders at a glance.

"You have to enter a hostname" bug. Not sure if this issue occurs on Windows but I hope it gets fixed.

When I open Site Manager, there is nowhere to enter the password for the site I am trying to connect to. I've checked settings and 'Save Passwords' is enabled. I've also tried FTP connection options as well as SFTP and the password field is nowhere to be found. It only asks me for hostname and user. What am I missing? I always had a password field before, in prior versions of Filezilla. Thank you.

On FileZilla Client, open "Site Manager". On right side we have 4 tabs. The bugs/improvements below are related to the site manager dialog.

General Tab: Servertype --> should be "Server Type" Logontype --> should be "Logon Type" or "Login Type"

Anonymons is by default selected for Logontype, which is fine, but when I select Normal from the dropdown, the User and Password boxes still show 'anonymous' and ''. Upon selecting 'Normal', these two boxes should clear up. Everytime I create/add a new site, I have to delete these two boxes. They should automatically clear up.

When Servertype FTP is selected, the Port box could show 21 by default. Similarly when SFTP is selected, the port box can change to 22 automatically. I remember FileZilla 2 had this before.

Advanced Tab Servertype --> should be "Server Type"

For default remote directory, if I enter "/public_html" it works, but if I just enter "public_html" it does not work and shows a message saying the path could not be mapped. FileZilla 2 handled this automatically. Can we have it back?

The tab "Transfer settings" should be "Transfer Settings", i.e. in title case.

"Force showing hidden files" option should be also available in the site manager. There can be a checkbox for it just below the "Default Remote Directory" text box.

We use your software to manage multiple login accounts for many different clients on a regular basis. By default the site dropdown list box expands off-screen beyond the windows frame panel and I cannot easily scroll to view saved connections on the lower portion of the list.

Having the dropdown be bound to the windows frame and implementing a nice scrollable option for an extensive catalog of saved connections, would gain much added value for power users such as myself. yes I know you can click on it manually and connect through where you add new connections but let's be real... who does that.

Even having the dropdown expand into multiple columns once it reaches a certain amount of list items would give me much more real estate to work with as far as usability.

There is a similar suggestion submitted 6 weeks ago (Ticket #10390).

Why is the Port field in the General Tab always empty after clicking on Site Manager to connect to a previously saved server, even though I saved the port number during the initial setup? I always have to manually enter the port number before connecting to my site. Any insight on this?

We changed the SFTP server settings to a new value but after couple of weeks notice that the settings are reverted to the old server details.

Could you please help investigate this issue.

When using the site manager it would be nice if it saves the size and position you left it. This is especially annoying when you have sites with bigger names. At least size would be good enough for me.

Also, it would be nice if you can organize sites by dragging and dropping. I created folders to seperate work, personal for example to find I had to recreate all the sites again vs. just moving them. Now a move to would work as well if drag and drop is to buggy.

I have users on an Open Directory, their home folder is located on a remote Xsan so they can move to different machines and hold their settings, when opening Filezilla they can use everything except Site Manager. When clicking on site manager the Error pops up: Site Manager already open

The Site Manager is apened in another instance of FileZilla 3. Do you want to continue? Any changes made in the Site Manager won't be saved then. and "NO" and "YES" buttons. Yes opens the Site manager but nothing will save. I have looked at the settings and the .Filezilla folder is on the remote server instead of locally on the machine. Is there anyway to point the folder? or a fix for this issue? I am able to go to the sitemanager.xml on the server and put info in the xml it will appear in the site manager but it will not accept any new connections, and i have users who are always updating settings.

There should be a delete all button. The shortcut "D" for "delete" doesn't work.

When I import filezilla.xml....it just adds more domains instead of updating the new domain list. So I end up with multiple domains listed and old logins for them.

In Site Manager, if you specify an ftp site and use 'Normal' Logontype and presses the 'Connect' button, the 'Enter your password' dialog box must use non-null (non-empty) password string, otherwise the 'OK' button will be greyed out and cannot complete the login process.

When I select File::Site Manager from the menu bar, a progress bar briefly appears and is replaced with a crash reporter.

The site manager has a button labeled "Discard" for what might usually be labeled "Cancel." The different wording is not necessary, and can create confusion. For example (being the idiot that I am?), I first assumed that the "Discard" button would... discard the information on the current screen. That is, I thought the information would be deleted instead of the changes (if applicable) canceled.

The Site Manager doesn't allow Alt-Tab when in Field "Server Type". You usually don't want to have to move your right hand to the mouse when you fill in the necessary fields when you enter a new site. I consider this being a bug since you have no way to solve this with just alt-tab on the keyboard.

The Site Manager doesn't remember the default Remote / local Directory parameters for a given site. Basically if you set the default local directory and/or the default remote directory parameters then exit the site manager. The next time you enter site manager and try to exit you will get a message stating "Default remote oath cannot be parsed. Make sure it is valid and is supported by the selected servertype." It occurs when the servertype is set to default (Autodetect).

Site Manager dropdown list of sits to connect to doesn't scroll nor does it expand sideways into multiple columns. it doesn't fit vertically on my 1440x900 screen. the menu has some sort of disabled control at the top. but I cannot view or select any of the bottom 7 or so items at the bottom of the list. they are not visible and cannot be reached.

Simple bug really, possibly a limitation of wxWidgets.

I've noticed that the dropdown scrolls on my main monitor if the list becomes too large for the screen's height, but I have a second monitor with a lower resolution and the dropdown doesn't detect this lower resolution and compensate with the scroller.

If the list isn't big enough to scroll on my main monitor but it is too big for my secondary monitor then the list displays without any scrollers and goes off the bottom of the screen with no way to access the bottom items except by mousing over the bottom or top displayed items and then using the arrow keys and enter to select off-screen ones.

If the list it too big for my main monitor and thus too big for my smaller one, then the scrollers appear, but as before, the bottom scroller is off the screen, and I still have the problem.

I realise that this is something of an edge case, and I can temporarily fix it by reorganising my site manager to have fewer items in each folder, but I just thought I'd put this out there as it's definitely a bug (although as I said, probably a limitation of wxWidgets).

Upgraded FZ from 3.3.2.1 to 3.3.4.1. All my Site Manager entries were lost. Really hacked me off. Now I have to contact the various server IT personnel to retrieve login info.

That is about it, I installed the upgrade and came up with a blank list of FTP sites when I opened Site Manager.

When importing a Site Manager entry, the Base64-encoded password entry is treated as a plain-text password.

Steps to reproduce (3.10.1.1 and 3.10.2-rc2): 1) File -> Export -> Export Site Manager entries 2) XML file contains a Base64-encoded password string, which correctly decodes to the plain-text password 3) Import the Site Manager entry 4) Password to the FTP site is not accepted anymore by the remote server 5) Repeat Site Manager Export 6) XML file contains a different, longer Base64-encoded password string, which decodes to a Base64-encoded password string from step 2, not the correct plain-text password

Adding profile on Site Manager Host: ftps://ftp.site.com Port: 990 Protocol: SFTP -SSH File

After entering the values and hitting connect on the site manager it connects, but when re pulling the profile up again it saves as Protocol: FTP with no port. If I don't specify ftps:// on the host it fails to connect. If I try adding ftps://ftp.site.com from an imported profile it adds [] around the host and pops a warning "Invalid protocol specified. Value protocols are: ftp: for normal FTP....."

I can't use latest v. 3.34.0 on Mac OSX 10.13.5 The Site Manager is not fully showing, so I can't select my sites from the list. Attached screenshot.

Hello... When opening the Site Manager or Preferences Pane, the main application screen shoots across my screen into a corner. Then, I get two error messages (see attached) and then I can not access the Preferences. I can enter the Site Manager.

In previous versions of FileZilla, one was able to drag sites to/from folders in the File Manager. Now, you are not able to drag them at all (the dimmed icon usually shown during dragging does not even show)

It is not possible to drag a site from one folder to another folder if two of the folders are not viewable (need to scroll) because while we drag a site to the list edge, the scrollbar doesn't scroll with it.

I hope it explain it.

Try make two folders under My Sites root folder. Then make 10 or more sites in first folder. Try move a site from first folder to second folder. Don't collapse the folder, let it expanded.

when bring up Site Manager, I couldn't control the focus using keyboard alone. Hit Alt-O or Alt-D can trigger the OK and Discard buttons. Tab doesn't help moving the focus around. I have to mouse-click inside the site list to get control there first, then I can use the navigation keys to move around.

In FileZilla 2 the ftp user's password was encrypted, for example Pass="010006086069122079112100". In FileZilla 3 (3.0.0-beta11) the sitemanager.xml file in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\FileZilla contains the ftp user's password in plain text, for example <Pass>mysecretpassword</Pass>.

I think it is obvious why this is so bad. I could not find this logged as a bug anywhere and so have raised this to make sure it is addressed.

When accessing a site with a certificate that is unknown, the site certificate dialog opens, but the "always trust" check box isn't sensitive (can't be checked). Clicking the "Ok" button allows site access for that instance, and the site can be re-accessed (new login) while FileZilla remains continuously active. When FileZilla is restarted, the certificate verification steps must be repeated for that site. Very aggravating for such a site that one visits often.

It is not posible to enter a portnumber of 21 or 0021 with a site after saving the site it is empty again. Entering portnumber 9999 works.

I have about 100 sites in Filezilla, some in folders, some not. When I view them in site manager they are in perfect alphabetical order. When I drop down the site list for quick connection they are not alphabetical. I'll attach a screenshot with full site names covered up for privacy.

When you have a large list of sites and you bring up the list of sites, the bottom scroll arrow no longer shows when the desktop is configured to have the Taskbar at the top of the screen.

Sites can be still scrolled through by use of the arrow keys, but there is no way to navigate to sites below via the mouse.

The error occurs ONLY with one particular site - the last one that I added (the 5th one). The other 4 sites connect from the Site Manager without any problems.

The protocol I am using for all my sites (including the problem site) is FTP - File Transfer Protocol. Encryption is Use plain FTP (same for all sites). Logon Type for all sites is Normal. User and password boxes are filled out with correct data.

I am using the newest version, 3.8.0, and it is doing this same error as the older version I had (I don't remember the previous version).

I'm a keyboard kinda guy. When I fire up the site manager, I'll press 'P' to get to a site I have defined that starts with 'P', 'E' to the E's, etc. In prior versions, the blue highlight box would land on those sites. In this new version, a light rectangle will highlight the site I want, and it will connect if I hit a spacebar or enter, but the blue highlight stays on the last site I used a mouse to select. Thanks!

I see this problem has been notified many times in the past #1324 #2601 #2688 #2695 and in #2688 was marked as solved in 3.0.0rc2.

Unfortunately I still have such problem.

The Site Manager drop down menu in the main window doesn't function in the same way as the other menus and Windows XP in general.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. While in FileZilla 3.0.10, click on the Site Manager dropdown menu arrow in the main window without releasing the mouse button,

2. Move the pointer to any site in the list and release the mouse button.

Actual results: Nothing

Expected results: FileZilla closes the menu and connects to the selected site.

In a dual monitor setup, Windows, if Filezilla is snapped to one side of the smaller monitor, the site manager dropdown expands to the height of the taller monitor, and therefore runs offscreen.

If you're arrow-ing down to entries, you have to arrow down several past the bottom of the screen to get the entries to scroll. This makes the bottom-most entries inaccessible.

When I installed Filezilla 3 beta, I lost all my Site Manager settings. The weird thing is when I reinstalled 2, they all came back. I installed Filezilla 3 over the existing folder, instead of in a different folder, so maybe that's the reason. For instance, Filezilla.exe was replaced during the install of 3 (and subsequently re-replaced when I installed 2).

"Site manager->advanced settings tab->remote directory input" does not support names with dots (.) anymore. It says "Remote Directory path cannot be parsed" This message is totally erroneous. It should let us enter whatever we want, and not perform validation. Furthermore, a lot of us can't tell what the underlying OS is...

For instance, I need to access the folder: ​ftp://server.com/example.com

I can't type "example.com" which is the subdirectory in which I need to go. Even when I select the "Unix" dropdown options.

When moving an entry with the mouse, the list should scroll on reaching the upper or lower boundary. At the moment, it is not possible to reach folders that are out of sight in case there are many entries.

I am using site specific bookmarks but these are effective only on the local site but not on the remote site of the FTP connection. Are there any rules to specify the remote directory in a bookmark ? I have Filezilla client 3.3.1
