Windows platform, FileZilla client 3.1.3.1 of 2008.09.09

If a file is uploaded, the "Last Modified" time is the time of the upload, not the time of the original file. Toggling the setting of "Preserve timestamps...." does not affect the timestamp of the uploaded file. No problems appear in the log except that there is no attempt to reset the timestamp or otherwise protect the timestamp of the original file.

Uploading the same file to the same server/account using SmartFTP instead of FileZilla preserves the timestamp so the server-side is okay. -m

On my System with Vista HomePremium SP3 not every password is approved when updating to the newest Version, some passwords are rejected now which workt former with the 3.0.6 Client-Version.

I use filezilla to upload deployed projects created with visual studio. first I create a project in VS2005. When it is built it creates a new folder. if this folder already exsists, it will delete the contents of this folder and fill it with the new built project. To upload the created dll I have to open the bin directory, select the dll and put it on the web. So filezilla an VS are both open. In Filezilla the bin directory is still selected.

Then I go back to VS, change something in my code and say 'rebuild'. So VS tries to delete the contents of the previous created folder. But because the bin dir is still selected in Filezilla, it cannot delete the bin map. Even in Explorer I cannot delete it or even see the contents. Even after closing VS and Filezilla, I cannot delete the bin directory.

So I have to restart the computer

When I'm uploading to my Godaddy FTP account I have a website with a bunch of pictures that I just upload all at once. I choose the method to overwrite if newer or different size. I find that even though files at Godaddy are newer and are the same size as reported by FileZilla they are overwritten.

The files are several MB and the date on the server is newer by 2 or more years in some cases.

After installing a new (the default 8.10 one, with the 8.10 GTK engine : "gtk2-engines-murrine") theme on my OS (i use GNOME + Compiz), i noticed Filezilla's GUI was having trouble with it.

My problem is that the font of the text in the "file explorers" (local and remote) is light-grey, while the theme background is just... white.

On my theme, the light-grey is the text colour for taskbars and such things, which all have a dark background. The area with white background is meant to go with dark text colour.

So i think the problem is that for these text areas in Filezilla, the text color that is picked is not the one that should be used with the background colour (grey+white instead of black+white). This is likely to happen in a lot of themes, including one of the default themes of Ubuntu 8.10 coming in less than 3 weeks.

I hope you can correct this bug, it's likely to be half a line to write, but as it's pretty annoying, it'd be cool that you do it fast, or tell Ubuntu devs at launchpad.org how to solve it and add it to our repository.

I had 2.2 for very long and now am tring the new 3.1.3.1 version. My remote directory contains some chinese named files and all become not readable.

My old 2.2 version is ok on this aspect.

I noticed that my local directory list is ok even there are chinese named files. The problem is the remote directory display.

My remote server os is linux. It handles chinese ok for my old filezilla 2.2

With the Microsoft policies NoDrives and NoViewOnDrives it is possible to hide a certain drive ad prevent access to it when it is browsed. FileZilla doesn't follow these policies. (tested with 3.1.3.1)

C:\ drive is hidden for the user and when filezilla is launched you won't see the drive on the local site overview. But when you type C:\ in the local site addres bar the c:\ drive is browsable.

1) Open FTP connection 2) Change into any directory 3) Disconnect 4) Delete that directory on the server via shell 5) Use reconnect button

Of course, FileZilla shows the error as expected ("Failed to retrieve directory listing"), but no directory tree is shown and so I can´t do anything.

Therefore, I propose the following in case the last used directory cannot be found:

• Change into directory one level up (perhaps try two, three, ... levels up, but this would prevent the other options down below)
• If that fails, change into default directory from site settings (if available)
• If that fails, change into root directory

I just now used this sftp client. I feel very great.

But I can't correctly navigate the remote directory when using rolloer wheel, but it is fine when using scroll bar.

I love this client.

Go into the site manager, and either create a new site in there, or test on an existing one. Then, delete the site, and close the site manager window. If you go back to the site manager, your site will still be there. For the change to stick, you need to either push the "Connection" or "OK" button.

I notice the same behavior can be seen for other things, like create a new site, then don't push the "Connection" or "OK" button. Close the window, and the new site will not have been saved.

Filezilla v 3.1.3.1

When playing music, e.g., a FLAC file under Winamp, there is a terrible crackling and popping whenever I start downloading a file in Filezilla version 3.1.3.1. This error is reproduceable, my sound card is a M-Audio Audiophile 2496. My system has never had such audio issues before.

I think it is good to have fast ftp-downloading, but sound quality should always have the highest priority. Maybe you need to code some yield() invocations in some low level functions or to lower the priority of network access.

The summary says it all: if you delete a directory on the remote side, the directory contents pane will update, but not the directory tree, resulting in a very confused FileZilla. Refreshing directory listings does work around this issue.

I deleted a directory which had two levels of sub-directories beneath it on the FTP protocol.

On my win xp, every time FZ ask me to download a new version, after few checks it tries to download the new file but nothing happens and the program freezes. The "cancel" button is not enabled and I have to kill the program.

I have downloadet the latest release, and again it freeze when I opload 100 Mb and over, I have to restart my system the hard way, but when I lock in to the remote server the file is there anyway. It semes to be a Vista(64) problem, because it works fine on XP.

On OS X, for long the help menu has been duplicated, the content of FileZilla's help menu does not populate the "OS" help menu. Hence there are two "help" menus on the screen.

Moreover, the FileZilla's help menu (where there is the update mechanism) tends not to draw properly after having been used once in the session.

Clicking on Site manager brings up the error

Error loading XML file

This has been duplicated on two MacBook Pro's at clean build stage.

Using current release of FileZilla, then tried a nightly build and then the previous stable release. The error appeared in all three. Used AppZapper between installs to ensure all files were deleted.

Using Version 3.1.4.1 for my MAC OS 10 trashes my sitemanager.xml file and will not import it from a backup. The error manifests after install and the second tiome it launchs. Error begins with "can not load filezilla.xml". When I remove it, it then states "can not load sitemanager.xml". The sitemanager.xml file has a damaged record for an SFTP connection that uses port 20202. After the user entry the is garbage for the balance of that server record. The rest of the data is not damaged. Attached is a copy of the damaged <sever></server record.

just downloaded version 3.1.4 and as soon as I try to connect, it crashes... went back to 3.1.3.1 that's working fine here. below is the bug report generated by the system thanks,

I have created an empty directory on web server - /xxx/yyy. I upload a file - trans.gif, 44 bytes.

Transfer queue shows a green 100% progress bar which then sits there for ages. It seems to be correctly transferred eventually. The log window shows what seem to be two attempts with the second one failing because the file is already there:

When the selection is at the first item, I can press "001" on the main keys to jump to the third item. Though, this doesn´t work when I use the numpad.

When downloading large files (1-2 GB) which take quite some time (e.g. several hours at 80 kB/s), they remain in the queue although they have been downloaded completely. Also, the connection seem to be still open.

If I reopen Filezilla and press the "Q->" button, a short transfer will be initiated (about 1 kB) and the file is then successfully removed.

This bug is annoying because the computer would not shut down over night, and if there are many of those files, other queue entries would wait forever for their turn.

right clicking on a remote directory, choosing "delete" and answering "yes" to the following question deletes all the files in a remote directory, but not the remote directory itself (which I think it should).

Same thing happens if I'm using a keyboard command.

The directory is still there--even after restarting filezilla. So this doesn't appear to be a caching problem with the client.

I am attempting to FTP a file from the client workstation to a z/OS 1.7 (mainframe) host. The .txt file must be uploaded to a z/OS dataset whose file characteristics must be: record format(variable), record length (32756) and block size (0). Prior to actually initiating the file transfer I do a Server->Enter Custom Command... of SITE RECFM=VB LRECL=32756 BLKSIZE=0. The reply back from the server is Response: 200 SITE command was accepted. I then initiate the file transfer to the z/OS host, which is successful, however the characteristics of the SITE commmand are not maintained and the file is created with z/OS default attributes. Any thoughts?

The silent installation mode is used for deployments to hundred or thousand machines with tools like SMS/SCCM, Tivoli, etc.

Example : FileZilla_3.1.5_win32-setup.exe /S /user=all

But currently when there is an installation error, the installation script displays a message box like "Unsupported operating system...", "Cannot install for all users...", etc.

The problem is that with this kind of deployment the user cannot even see the dialog box because the installation is made through the network in a "no-display" context, wether or not the user is logged on. So the installation process is stuck until the next reboot and the failure is not detected by the deployment tool.

I am not an NSIS expert but it seems that adding "/SD IDOK" or "/SD IDNO" to each "MessageBox" line in the installation script would fix the problem.

It would be nice also to always create an installation log file so that installation errors could be easily managed.

uploads simply stall after 2 or 3 successful file transfers. this has never happened before this recent update.

When the filesize is 0 there is an unhandeled exception that sping up

This goes back to v3.0, just verified in 3.1.5. Create a symbolic link in Linux server as:

ln -s ~/path/dir linkname

FTP to server and refresh FZ and linkname appears in the tree. Clicking on it returns error 550, No such file or directory, may return Critical error, sometimes reports "Failed to retrieve directory listing" and then "Disconnected from server" -- even though it is still connected.

Manually disconnect and reconnect. No change. Connect to a different server, disconnect, come back to the first server, then refresh, and the link is now recognized in v3.0. In 3.1.5 the link never seems to get recognized.

After this, I can't seem to find a pattern: I have a couple symbolic links that work and some that don't, all on the same server, with the same owner/group permissions, under the same user /home, etc. The ones that don't work were updated more recently but I don't see anything in permissions or anything else to explain them not showing up.

How can we clear the FZ cache entirely so that a CWD and "LIST -a" actually get the current server state? I'll provide debug data and any other diagnostic info if requested.

when i was uploading files to my hosting and sometimes it crashes like not responding on windows vista sp1...

I'm on a Windows XP SP 2 Intel Pentium 4 2 ghz. I'm using FileZilla version 3.1.2 and attempting to upgrade to 3.1.5. The same problem occurred while attempting to upgrade to 3.1.2.

When I attempted to upgrade to 3.1.2 and now 3.1.5 the client is freezing and the installation does not complete. At the point during the install when it asks where I want to save the installation file, I choose my desktop. When I do this, it places the beginnings of the file on the desktop but the installation fails. As I attempt to delete that incomplete installation file, windows tells me that the file is in use:

Cannot delete FileZilla_3.1.5_win32-setup: It is being used by another person or program.

Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

I've rebooted several times and still receive this message.

I was able to successfully install 3.1.2 if I used the 'My Documents' folder instead of the 'Desktop'. However, the incomplete installation files for 3.1.2 remains on my desktop.

I set EmEditor software as default program to open *.css file. In my PC, I can double click to open *.css easy. An another software I have is Microsoft Frontpage 2003. When I click on View/Edit file with a file on server by FileZilla, it download and auto open with MS Frontpage but not EmEditor.

I use FZ as my main ftp client and have been impressed with its performance...however the new version doesnt seem to allow 'drag and drop' on to the upload window? it is so much easier with this functionality if you need to make multiple uploads to the same directory.

is this a bug or removed feature?

Can no longer drag and drop files into FileZilla for uploading, it just crashes... This started happening when I installed a 3G Modem dongle about 2 weeks ago... I have since uninstalled the dongle, but the crash is still happening... Perhaps a co-incidence? Please advise... Thanks!

There's a grammar blooper in the "Target file found" dialog. I found the line in the code that needs to be changed. I hope the information below is sufficient to fix it. The label is "Please chose an action." Please correct to "Please choose an action." (It's "choose", not "chose".

Filezilla will fail transferring files with filename starting with the special character '-'. Filezilla will also fail with filenames containing the special character '!'.

Not sure if this problem is only related to SFTP (my case) or to other protocols as well.

While uploading a .csv with 5,788,101 bytes, the "Target File Already Exists" message appears after uploading anywhere from 287721 to 1,693,059 bytes prompting to overwrite file. Using ASCII transfer type on FileZilla 3.1.5, This does not happen on another client running FZ 3.1.2.

When you delete a directory from a FTP-server the remote window doesn't refresh and the deleted directory still remains on the directory-tree.

It is a problem when i tranfer files from a AIX til Windows that Filezilla don't convert "end of line" from AIX/UNIX mode til Windows Mode.

I want use this produkt, but when i must transfer files from AIX/UNIX til Windows and the other way, I use other products that can do this converting.

It is not posible to enter a portnumber of 21 or 0021 with a site after saving the site it is empty again. Entering portnumber 9999 works.

While attempting to download a file which already exists in the "local" directory, the info message stating the "file is already present" has 2 problems:

• text reports a %S instead of the filename
• under "local" file label there instead is the remote one and the other way round. This is misleading... even though everything works fine.

While uploading the text still reports a %s instead of the filename, while the local/remote files are correctly reported

I upgraded - through the FileZilla auto upgrade - from the previous version to 3.1.5. After the upgrade when I right click on a text file on the ftp site and go to view/edit the file starts to open in TextPad v4.7.3 and I get the following error: "DDE execute request failed: a request for a synchronous execute transation has timed out."

After Xing out of the error notice the file does open in TextPad.

This did not happen in the previous version.

I just downloaded the server and client and found this bug. I created a site with a simple password and added a home directory to test. Then I connected from other server with the client 3.1.5, after checking it was OK I disconnected leaving open the client. I then went to the server and changed the user's home directory then reconnected but the client listed the old directory's content. I disconnected and tried to connect again with the same results. It listed the real content only after I closed the client and launched it again. I recreated the site several times making the same steps and it always happens. The original site was made on two HP Proliant 370 Servers with Intel Xeon 3.6Ghz using Win2003 R2 SP2. The last tests were made on my PC a HP Compaq dc5750 SFF with an AMD 4200+ 64 X2 using WinXP SP3.

i noticed that if i change their password, it works fine, if i change it back to the original value, the error comes back, i am attaching debug logs for both cases.

yes, it sounds like witchcraft, but i saw many people in forums with the same problem. this is the only workaround i found.

the same goes for gftp, only the debug window says "Invalid response '2' received from server."

The way to name a path in OpenVMS is for example:

devicename:[folder.subfolderlevel1.subfolderlevel2]

FileZilla shows the above example as:

[devicename/folder/subfolderlevel1/subfolderlevel2]

From within FileZilla trying to change directory by typing them in from some ware else to:

[devicename/folder/subfolderlevel1/subfolderlevel2]

will fail.

Canging to

devicename:[folder.subfolderlevel1.subfolderlevel2]

works fine.

On the OpenVMS system you would find files with the extention '.dir'. They represent the folders/directories found in the current folder/directory. They should be shown as folders in the Remote site folder tree. They are not. So you cannot browse your way down the tree.

OpenVMS supports posix, but to use the /folder/subfolder/subfolder way of path name only works if the server is specially configured for that.

I try to use FileZilla from Windows to a FTP server on OpenVMS 8.3.

I am using FileZilla 3.1.5 on a Windows XP platform (Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3) CPU: Intel T2050 @1.60 GHz, 0.99 GB of RAM Issue: when I upload HTML files to the site stats@…, some files upload to zero bytes on the WHAC server.

It starts with a size of 35,891 bytes when I send it, but when it is written on the site in /2008-09/msoccer, it shows as a length of zero bytes.

The trace appears normal. but the overwrite prompt I had gotten indicated the target had a size of zero bytes (which requires me to resend the file two or three times to make sure it uploads properly. Hello,

I can't view/download files beginning with "." in the remote directory. Quite a bug if you're trying to check if every remote directory has a ".htaccess" file in it or if the path to one of your more secret directoryie (e.g. to the file ".passwd" contains a "."; btw: changing into such a directroy is possible if you know it's name and use the field "Remote site:" to type it's name in.

As I see it, when sftp is chosen, the "Remote site"-field should always be left empty by the program. The path written there should be considered relative paths to the current, and when enter is pressed, it should be added to the current path, with an "/" as a separator.

FileZilla should not use "[]" when in sftp mode. Maybe that is the main problem?

When FTP is used the dot "." is the correct separator between levels in the folder hierarchy, but apparently not when Sftp is used.

I found out that the error does not appear when using plain FTP. It is when using SFTP it malfunctions.

So I compared how Puttys psftp acted. Here is a complete conversation:

I am using SftpDrive (​http://www.magnetk.com/sftpdrive/) to connect a a server via sftp protocol. It builds a bridge between the server and Windows box, making the sftp connection as Network drive (I think...).

Previously (Filezilla 3.1.3.1), sftpdrives were visible in "Local Site" tree. But now they are not visible nor accessible thru Filezilla.

When I drag a file from the server to Windows Explorer with SftpDrive opened, it shows a error message:

I dragged a group of files, folders and an ISO from a remote site to a local folder and one of the zip files continued to download way past its origanl size. The origanal file was a 74 MB in size but it continued to download past that and I eventually stopped it at 122 MB. The progress bar reported as 100 % complete. It appears that the file download just restarts every time it reaches the end of the original file.

I restarted the same file and it did it again. This time i let it restart a second time (149 MB) before I stopped it.

For Uploading/Downloading of files i have selected the option as "ASK FOR ACTION" yet the client some times misses asking the same & overwrites the file.

Also these windows are not resizeable so I have to close FileZilla and reopen it and then everything works as normal. These pop windows include but not limited to the Options window and the Overwrite? prompt window but essentially every box that is attempted will not display correctly. I have my task bar attached to the top of my screen. When FileZilla opened the first time, the top of the FileZilla window was obstructed by the task bar (see the screenshot). In order to move the window, I have to unlock the task bar and then shrink it to uncover the menu bar of FileZilla.

When I upload files, the server showed incorrect date/time

I have an FTP account that can only be accessed using active FTP, but Filezilla enters PASV anyway.

Here are the account parameters:

After manually entering CWD command (Server menu), the remote directory doesn't refresh.

Usually, this is not a problem, however in some specific it is: When logging in to the university Novel server via FTP, I need to change the server path (CWD MAF/). There is no other way besides the "manual" one, since I cannot get to the highest directory level where the servers are one next to other.

Tested with FileZilla 3.1.5

If I make "double click" in one of these files (as I it was a directory) the response is the following:

I’ve been using FileZilla successfully until I upgraded to version 3.1.5.

Despite selecting “Auto” or “ASCII” for the file transfer mode in teh FileZilla menu FileZilla version 3.1.5 always transfers the file in BINARY mode! A sample of the output is as follows:

As you can see FileZilla switches to ASCII mode but transfers the file in BINARY mode! I feel this is a major bug with the software.

Please could someone investigate as I would really like to keep using FileZilla but the software as it stands is incapable of transferring in ASCII mode without corrupting the file.

It is not possible to drag a site from one folder to another folder if two of the folders are not viewable (need to scroll) because while we drag a site to the list edge, the scrollbar doesn't scroll with it.

Try make two folders under My Sites root folder. Then make 10 or more sites in first folder. Try move a site from first folder to second folder. Don't collapse the folder, let it expanded.

Windows XP client build 5.1.2600 w/ SP2.

Trying to connect using FZ client to a RHEL server running VSFTPD configured with FTP over explicit SSL.

Using the latest FZ client version (3.1.5.1), could connect to the server however fails trying to bring up the directory listing.

Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Session is using passive transfer method, however, using active transfer produces same result.

In older version of FZ client(v3.0.8.1) this connects and displays the directory listing without issue.

This has been reproduced on numerous client PCs testing both versions connecting to our server.

Appears as though something has changed when it comes to TLS in the newer version of FZ client.

SFTP to remote has incorrect filedates and times (most all around 1969) Server is CoreFTP. Other clients that display correctly are FireFTP, WSftp Pro, etc. Tested from numerous locations & computers, and several 3.x versions.

I entered "Notepad.exe" as edit software to use for editing. When I ask to edit an .html file it uses the default browser to display the file and impossible to edit the text

I connect daily to a server and download files that are created daily. For the last week or so I have noticed that the remote site file dates do not refresh. It does not matter if I click the refresh button, shut down FileZilla and reconnect the remote site window file dates do not change. If I go to the server via other means I can see clearly that the date is the current date so FileZilla is not picking up the new file dates. The file names are always the same only the size and creation date are changed. I read through previous and did not see any tickets reporting this specific bug.

I have a multi-level folder directory that could not be added to the queue to be uploaded correctly. The folder structure is similar as follows:

 - www
   - _images
     - folderA
       - folderB
         - image1.jpg
         - image2.jpg
   - _templates
     - folderC

           - folderF
             - template1.tpl
             - template2.tpl

When in the local directory, and in the www level and right-clicking on www and choosing "add files to queue", not all the files get added to the queue.

More correctly, only the files in the _images directory get added to the queue.

This worked correctly with filezilla 2.2.30 but has broken with the current version.

I am currently running FileZilla 3.1.5.1 but this issue has been happening on previous versions as well. When I try to open the site manager (either from the File Menu, toolbar icon, or CTRL+S shortcut) FileZilla crashes. The Vista crash information is as follows:

I have just upgraded FileZilla Client from 3.1.3.1 to 3.1.5.1 and cannot access my mapped network drives now.

I have rolled back to 3.1.3.1 and can again see the drives but (by trial and error) have proven that 3.1.4 and later do not display the drives to me. I have also tried the latest nightly (22 Nov 08)and the experience the same behaviour.

I notice that one of the changelog notes for 3.1.4 reads " MSW: React to added or removed drive letters", I don't know whether this is connected to this problem possibly.

I've attached a screenshot showing FileZilla alongside windows explorer so that you can see the network drives which are missing from the local view.

I am totally in love with this client and have been using Firezilla for more than an year now but your latest version is so disappointing. It takes some 10 seconds to refresh my local files and the remote ones. It just goes on loading and then refreshes. This also happens when I delete a file.

The other day, I downloaded and extracted the zip package of poMMo to my desktop client. After using FileZilla 3.1.5.1 to upload the files to the server, poMMo install would not run properly. Investigating the problem, I noticed that not all of the files were uploaded, and FileZilla was not properly recursing all of the directories.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download poMMo (​http://downloads.sourceforge.net/pommo/poMMo-aardvarkPR16.1.zip?modtime=1207183826&big_mirror=0)
2. Extract to desktop.
3. Open FileZilla
4. Connect to server.
5. Navigate to poMMo folder in FileZilla folder tree.
6. Hit ctrl-a to select all files and folders in poMMo folder.
7. Drag to server folder.
8. Pause queue.
9. Notice not all folders and file are in queue (e.g. all subfolders in pommo\inc\lib folder).

Had same problem on two different computers. Vista Ultimate x64 and XP Pro SP3

Here's a weird one. A site that I haven't visited using FZ for a while (I have a program that does automated download from there that works fine though). Today I connected using FZ 3.1.5.1 and it showed the remote directory as empty. I tried passive, active, force show hidden files, all with the same result. So I went to another machine on the same network that hasn't been upgraded from 2.2.10 yet, and it displays the files fine.

I HAVE seen the answer on similar ticket ​http://trac.filezilla-project.org/ticket/4015 and checked that the file is valid and can be accessed but still have the problem after last update.

When FTP server return, f.e., "257 "9.256/" is current directory." upon FZ issuing command "PWD", FZ fails to parse with (debug) message "ControlSocket.cpp(356): Failed to parse returned path. caller=0p13482d8".

Also, when I manually type in a directory name with a trailing / in the "Remote site:" field, FZ strips the trailing slash before sending it to the server. Observable in the message log: Command: CWD /9.258 And also observable in a Packetcapture.

FileZilla runs fine otherwise

The ftp server on aix, and client on windows xp home(hp oem) + sp3 my connect info:

The correct directory is "IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT" not "00时00 IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT", that looks like add time or year prefix in correct directories.

FileZilla v3.1.5.1 seems to have a problem uploading Entire file trees.

on an attempt to upload a folder tree, I dragged and dropped the base folder of a wordpress plugin in FileZilla. The base folder and immediate sub-folders were transferred, with the files they contain. However, any folders further down the tree were not transferred.

In reference to the attached screenshot, the highlighted folder was the one I dragged and dropped (from local window in FZ to server window in FZ). The sub-folders marked in green were sucessfully transferred with the files contained. The folders further down the tree marked in red were not transferred.

The fault is consistent on my system, but has not ocurred in previous versions of FileZilla.

System spec HP 8510w Mobile Workstation (laptop)(nVidia QuadroFX 570m graphics card, intel Core2 Duo T7700, 4 GB RAM) Running english Windows Vista x64 SP1

This could be caused by the "." and ".." directories under linux.

In the log... 00:05:25 Response: 226 1706 matches total

In the program (under horizontal scrollbar)... 1704 directories

I am using the latest of FileZilla 3.1.5.1. OS-Windows XP with SP3, RAM-2GB, Processor-Intel Core 2 Duo 1.80. I am uploading around 160000 jpg images to our site using FTP. I am using the anonymous account for the FTP. For the first time about 30000 images uploaded successfully. Suddenly the system restarted due to power fluctuation. I have again started uploading the same selecting the option "Overwrite is different size or source newer". But this time FileZilla crashed. I have again tried for 3 to 4 time but got the same. I have reinstalled FileZilla but the same problem occurs.

I am sending the windows error report along with snap shots

When I transfer from local to server a directory with files and subdirs often filezilla transfer only files and make directories without files inside.

I've tried this with Filezilla 3.1.5.1 on windows xp pro.

In my Vista 64 machine, FileZilla installs by default in "c:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla FTP Client" but when I try to connect to a FTP using SFTP I get the error:

Filezilla Error

Execution of command '"C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client\fzsftp.exe" -v' failed (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.)

OK

It should be launching the executable from "c:\Program Files (x86)\FileZilla FTP Client" instead of "C:\Program Files\FileZilla FTP Client\fzsftp.exe".

I tried to open an ftp session on a packetshaper (QoS product from BlueCoat - ex Packeteer). It works well with quit all version but with the mast release, it's impossible. It works with an ftp open in command line.

I'm using version 3.1.2, which is the latest version available with Ubuntu 8.10.

I'm using the default skin of Ubuntu, and it's hard to use Filezilla because of the font color. There is almost no contrast, the font color is light beige, and the background is white. I haven't found anything in the options to change the skin of the font, just the skin of the icons.
