Description
I upgraded from FileZilla 3.7.3 to 3.8.0. Upon startup, I receive the message that FileZilla is unable to find its resources, suggesting that this can be overcome by setting the FZ_DATADIR environment variable (presumably to point at \Program Files (x86)\Filezilla\resources) or by providing the --datadir command-line option. Neither of these help. Indeed, using the --datadir command-line option posts an error message "Unknown long option 'datadir'".
Downgrading to 3.7.3 provides a workaround.

Does this issue still exist in 3.8.1?

It is still happening and blocking me from using it with actual version (I can't check for version as I can not run it and error msg shows no version info).
After a system problem I used a "restoration point" on a win7 system, Filezilla lost some config and now says that resources are not found and tell me to redefine its folder by using "--datadir" command line option (that is NOT supported actually) or define a FZ_DATADIR env. var, that I did but didn't work neither.
So I can not fix it. I will try to unistall and install again, but at least the message should be updated with options that actually do something, or may be assume the folder is in the same path as the exe by default.
Note the similarity to report #8828 here.
