Limit size of logfile isn't working correctly in OS X

Description
Limit size of logfile doesn't really follow the size user set.
it is always limit to 10KiB even when I set 1000 in box.
And the box display in unit of MiB but I think program actually set the size in unit of KiB. But it really doesn't matter since program doesn't take any value from user's settings.

I am not really sure I can follow you. What value have you set there? What happens? What do you expect?
