#936 closed Bug report

buggy ftp with explicit encryption

Reported by: aisaac0 Owned by: Alexander Schuch
Priority: normal Component: FileZilla Client
Keywords: Cc: aisaac0, Alexander Schuch
Component version: Operating system type:
Operating system version:

Description

I have no problems with SFTP using SSH. When I attempt
FTP over SSL (or TSL) with explicit encryption in
passive mode, I get partial uploads and zero byte
uploads. This is a critical failure of FileZilla,
which I have hitherto loved.

Tested with the Aug 21 release.

See
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1136
for examples of others with this problem. It deserves
highest priority.

Attached is the debug log:

Lots has changed since this bug report has been filed. Can you please test the latest version of FileZilla 2 to check if it is still there?

Or preferably, try FileZilla 3 (beta) as that one will be the next version.
