Description
When I upload large amounts of files (especially larger
binaries), I constantly have transfer errors and after a
while critical transfer errors. It makes uploading a real
pain and takes enormous amounts of time and
monitoring. Also, in this process some binaries get
corrupted, leading to hosts of other difficult to debug
problems.
I use 2.2.14b against a Windows 2003 IIS ftp server.
Kind regards,
Marc

Speed of uploading (client to server) is extremely slow and
is giving timeout and other errors. downloading the same
file is giving no problems. Changing the buffer sizes to
its maximum is giving slight improvements. Especially when
you use a dialup connection uploading is practically
impossible. I use the latest version of the server 0.9.10
on the windows xp server. Other FTP clients are giving same
problems, so the server is the problem generator.
It should have a higer priority

Might be caused by this, try disabling the Application Layer Gateway: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931130
Happens to me too, but only when a file of the same name already
exists. If I care about removing those files first, upload
went flawless so far.
Of course this is no real solution, but maybe a hint for
tracking down the bug...
