Description
I am having a similar issue with certificates signed by DigiCert. The certificate is not trusted despite it originating from a trusted CA. Other clients handle this perfectly (Transmit, Fetch, Cyberduck - even PHPStorm allows for connections over TLS using this certificate chain).
This has been confirmed on both OSX and Windows 7 running the latest Filezilla release of 3.7.3.

I originally wrote this ticket referencing http://trac.filezilla-project.org/ticket/888 - that's what is meant by "I am having a similar issue..."
