Description
on the remote server i am unable to list a directory if

Filezilla then simply trunk the path to 255 chars.

Can you please retry this with current version of FileZilla
2 or FileZilla 3 please?

I tested it using FileZilla 3 beta, and created a path with
403 characters, uploaded a file into it and downloaded the
file again. FileZilla 3 beta didn't crash.
The file name length limit is 255 characters on the server
and on my local filesystem. So if you cannot provide a
server for testing that allows files with names longer than
255, this bug cannot get checked.
Closing the bug report.
Similar problem here: When trying to download files with
names >255 characters, FileZilla 2.2.26a crashes.
