I have a verisign SSL certificate I am using to verify my
identity however when filexilla sends the signing certificate for
authorization by the client the intermediary signer is
displayed and therefore is not trusted. The intermediary is
trusted by the root verisign signer, but Filezilla does not follow
and verify the certificate chain back to the root signature.
I paid for a verisign certifiacte so my customers could trust
my identity and security but filezilla makes it appear there is
a problem with the ftp over ssl.

FileZilla follows the user-guided TOFU model.
Can you please elaborate what you mean?
