Pausing DL Queue on sFTP and Starting on Same Host FTP Server Fails

Reported by: Ionix Owned by:

Component version: Operating system type: Windows
Operating system version: 7 Home Premium

Description

First, a little back-story. At my place of work, I can connect to our sFTP server because our IP is white-listed. My home address is not, so I can only access our server files via FTP when I work from home.

Restarting a queue in a FTP connection that was made in an sFTP connection will fail, even if it's the same host.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start on an sFTP Host Connection.
  2. Build a queue of files to download, but do not process yet.
  3. Disconnect / Move to a FTP connection at the same host location.
  4. Begin to Process queue.

Result: File transfer does not succeed.

Please provide logs.

But I simply guess that the protocol is stored inside the queue as well. So if you process the queue, it will try to connect via SFTP and will fail.

There is no reason FTP and SFTP on the same domain need to actually refer to the same data/server.

This likely is a "rejected", but let's see the logs.
