Upload from Local site to Remote site says permission denied

Every time I tried to upload a file from the Local Site (my usb or local hard drive) to the Remote Site I have been denied access. Up until a couple months ago, this was never a problem and then one day the FileZilla client denied me access. It has been this way ever since then. I have tried downloading the client onto other computers and tried uploading from there. I am the only one who accesses FileZilla.

I checked the permissions of the remote file and when I checked the properties, the settings is on "777" but I'm still not allowed to move any local files into the remote files. Thoughts on how to proceed?

Please check that you have write access to the directory the file should be uploaded into. Furthermore, make sure that you do not run in some kind of quota. Eventually, try another FTP client just to make sure it is not some issue with the server/your user account.

This is the problem. I used to have write access to the directory but recently I haven't been able to access it anymore and I cannot figure out why all of a sudden I'm being denied permission. Can the system do that if I'm the only one who's been using it for the past year?

How would you check for a quota? I also tried uploading with a different FTP client and it worked fine. Thank you

Can you please enable "Show raw directory listing" in the "Debug" settings and raise the log level to 3 and restart FileZilla Client. Then, connect to the server, and try to upload a file; the message log should contain the error. Attach the message log to this issue.

This does not look like a bug in FileZilla.

You try to upload files into a directory called "UPLOAD_SERMONS_HERE". This directory can neither be accessed nor newly created. I suggest you login into your account using SSH, perform a list command "ls" and then decide what to do, like setting proper permissions "using "chmod").
