Description
When I download a file from a VMS server the filename created on my local directory har the version file number, ex.: file.txt;2
It would be interesting if filezilla ignores the version number and create the file without the version number.

Might be feature request, but is sort of basic/necessary for VMS. All standard VMS tools ignore version number by default.
It's like submitting to SVN with the same version number on every update. Just not something you do.
But, on the same token, you probably want to ignore version numbers altogether unless "show hidden files" is enabled, and only show the latest revision by default. That would resolve the issue of stripping version numbers.

To me it sounds like a feature request rather than a bug - moved.
