I also see the same error in my log window.

Data connection SSL warning: error:140F3042:SSL routines:SSL_UNDEFINED_CONST_FUNCTION:called a function you should not call

I notice we are both using the server in VMWare. I am using VMWare Workstation 8 and the host/client OS is Windows 8 Release preview. The VM is bridged to the host adapter so the VM gets it's own private IP from the router. The server is 0.9.41 Beta using a 4096bit certificate, the client is FileZilla 3.5.3. The transfers seem to work ok I haven't yet noticed any actual problems other than the error message itself.

UPDATE:
Today the error message is no longer being generated. I haven't touched a thing or even restarted the FileZilla server software. The server has been transferring files constantly for about 24hrs now.

Hello,

We encounter exactly the same issue.

When the following entry appears in the log "Data connection SSL warning: error:140F3042:SSL routines:SSL_UNDEFINED_CONST_FUNCTION:called a function you should not call", the connection is broken by the server and the file transfer failed.

Version of Filezilla 0.9.41 Beta

We are also seeing this problem in 0.9.41 Beta. Our web server is Windows 2008R2 running under VMware ESXi 5.1.0 799733
